Dani y Adriel son dos excelentes jóvenes, disponibles, simpáticos, trabajadores y con buena disposición para cumplir con las reglas de la casa. Me ayudaron con muchas tareas que para mi resultan ya pesadas debido a mis problemas de columna. Reactivaron mi pequeña huerta, cortaron el pasto, podaron los arboles frutales, limpiaron y además cocinaron

Nuestra estadía de 2 semanas con Amelia, Rayito, Flipa (y el michi visitante nocturno) fue encantadora y acogedora 🧡 El trabajo es lindo y calmo, ella te sugiere que hacer y vos lo realizas en el tiempo que te lleve. El cuarto que te ofrece es precioso🌟, no vas a pasar frio, ni hambre (ahora amamos el gorgonzola!) y encima vas a recibir unos mimos

Desde el dia 1 te explica como funcionan las cosas de la casa con amabilidad y nosotros sentimos seguridad en realizar las labores ya que ella confia en lo que vas a hacer, no hay presiones, ni hay prisa, solo queda disfrutar y enfocarse en el presente 🧘🏾 Por lo general, son tareas en el jardín o en la casa, aunque también cuidamos a sus gatitos e hicimos algunos simples trabajitos por unos días cuando Amelia tuvo que viajar. También conocimos a su nietita y a sus amigas, y un día dimos un hermosa caminata por el bosque con ella. Nos integró y nos hizo parte enseguida, muy tranquilos y relajados. Amelia es una persona muy amable. El lugar es tranquilo y hermoso. El trabajo no es duro y ella se esfuerza por hacerte sentir como en casa. Flipa y Rayito (sus gatos) son la frutilla del postre. We had such a great time with Amelia. She was hospitable, thoughtful and lively. Her garden is impressive with a lot of plants growing and we got the chance to water her plants and admire her passion for tending to her land. … read more interesting things to tell and talking with her is a real pleasure. I honestly can‘t stress enough how much I enjoyed the talks we had together. One thing I especially liked about my stay at Amelia‘s was that she always included me in her daily routine and activities. She took me to Sunday lunches at her daughter‘s, we went to the cinema and I was invited to a really nice little dinner get together with her lovely friends and loads of delicious Italian food which I will surely never forget. I really regret not having been able to stay longer but I will be back for sure. I had a fabulous experience staying with Amelia for ten days. It was a first workaway experience for both of us, and if this is the standard, I will be very happy.

… read more well travelled-we were able to have lots of chats about hugely varied topics.
The tasks I helped Amelia with were varied and interesting including picking fruit and vegetables, helping in the garden, making jams and sauces, cooking, and I also had the chance to help bottle wine.
Amelia produces a lot of her own food and the culinary experience was a definite highlight for me: the very best of fruit, vegetables, cheese, cured meats and wine. I learned so much about the foods of Italy and indeed Piedmont.
The location is somewhat remote, and wouldn’t be suited to everyone, but for anyone who wishes to experience rural life in Northern Italy, this is perfect. I did have an opportunity to visit Asti and Turin, as well as some of the surrounding small towns during my stay.
