From September 28th, we will need help until approximately October 26th
Hello do you love to be around animals and help ous We are located in beautiful Nordfjord in Western Norway. It is a place filled with history all the way back to the Vikings. We have mini Shetland ponies on our hobby farm.
The help is around private home or garden.
We are Ole Morten (58) and Caroline (59). On the farm we currently ponies, 2 dogs and a cat. We also have a cabin in the mountains that you can use if you are interested in outdoor life and fishing for trout in the lakes.

We can offer experiences on the beautiful Norwegian west coast. There are opportunities for hiking in the mountains and fishing in the fjord. The farm is partly run in the old way. This means that one gets to learn old traditional ways of running farms. We have machines for use with the most heavy work

In 2009, the renowned National Geographic Traveler Magazine voted the Fjords of Western Norway the best preserved attraction on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. That is quite an honour – but there are many others! Lonely Planet for instance, put Fjord Norway on the list of 8 voyages of a lifetime.

I spend almost 1 month at the farm, during winter time, and it was and amazing experience. Caroline & Ole Marten are an amazing couple and being part of their house was a pleasure. The 3 dogs : Sonni, Yanki & Scott are the best trio, and it's always a pleasure to play, walk or just chill in the sofa with them.

The view there is stunning, and we loved being surrounded with animals and nature. Learning the farm life was very interesting and we had a lot of fun!
