  Hello! We are a family of three members, Manu, Ale and Alma, in order from oldest to youngest. We live out of the town Bonastre, in Tarragona. Our daughter is 7 months old, we live in the middle of vineyards, olive trees and forests in a small and very humble house. When we arrived here a year ago, only the house was there. We clean it, paint it, build a dry toilet, rainwater collection, water system, solar and electrical system, room for a shower... and something else. In other words, we do not depend on any public network or electricity or water. There are many comforts that people are used to at home that we cannot offer here and that is important when coming home. We live peacefully, with the nature around us.

  ¡Hola! Somos una familia de tres miembros, Manu, Ale y Alma, en orden de mayor a menor. Vivimos al afueras del pueblo de Bonastre, en Tarragona. Nuestra hija tiene 7 meses, vivimos en medio de viñas, olivos y bosques en una casita pequeña y muy humilde. Cuando llegamos aqui hace un año solo estaba la casa. Nosotros la limpiamos, pintamos, construimos un baño seco, recogida de agua de lluvia, sistema de agua, sistema y conexión solar y electrica, habitaculo para una ducha... y alguna cosita mas. O sea que no dependemos de ninguna red publica ni de electricidad ni de agua. Hay muchas comodidades a las que la gente esta acostumbrada en sus casas que nosotros no podemos ofrecer y eso es importante a la hora de venir a casa. Vivimos tranquilos, con la naturaleza que nos rodea.

  We have both been long-term travelers, we know a few countries. Manu now works as a yoga teacher and likes working in the garden (although we don't have one right now), he listen to the radio and news everyday. he was born in Valencia. Ale makes gluten-free bread and pastries, cosmetics and soaps at home and some work on a sewing machine, he was born in Madrid.
  Our goal is to be able to teach our daughter to be self-sufficient if she needs it, that she knows how to build, grow a tomato, shampoo, or fix her pants if they are too big for her. We live in a simple and humble way, we do not need much to live and we consider that we lack nothing.
  
  Los dos hemos sido viajeros de largo término, conocemos algunos países. Manu ahora trabaja como profesor de yoga y le gusta el trabajo en el huerto (aunque ahora no tenemos uno), escucha la radio y las noticias todos los dias. Nació en Valencia. Ale hace pan y reposteria sin gluten, cosmetica y jabones en casa y algún trabajo a maquina de coser, nació en Madrid.
  Nuestro objetivo es poder enseñar a nuestra hija a ser autosuficiente si lo necesita, que sepa construir, cultivar un tomate, hacerse un champu, o arreglarse un pantalon si le queda grande. Vivimos de manera sencilla y humilde, no necesitamos mucho para vivir y consideramos que no nos falta de nada.

  Aide

  The house is too small for us and our goal over the next few months is to build, from scratch, a new room attached to the existing house. We don't need anyone with special skills, just people who want to help us in the construction and want to learn about bio-construction and everything that goes into making a simple house. Our budget is minimal, so we will build a lot with materials that we find around, in a simple way. Between the two of us we know a little about everything (bioconstruction) and if you know a little more, then we are already super wise as a team! The ideal is to be able to function on a day-to-day basis as a good team, for someone to be with Alma if she needs it, another cooking, another working... and the roles change according to our feelings. We are also open to the creativity and ideas of the people who come, we have an idea of ​​what we want to do but it is not closed, as we make the space we will see what best fits with the materials available.
  If you have never participated in a project like this, the idea is to start with a lime foundation, then make a part of structural carpentry taking into account windows and doors, put a roof, and finally, build up the walls with clay and straw. It depends on when you come, we will be in one process or another.
  
  
  La casa se nos hace pequeña y nuestro objetivo durante los próximos meses es la construcción, desde cero, de una nueva habitación adherida a la casa ya existente. No necesitamos a nadie con habilidades especiales, solo gente que desee ayudarnos en la construcción y quiera aprender sobre bioconstrucción y todo lo que conlleva hacer una casita sencilla. Nuestro presupuesto es minimo, asi que construiremos mucho con materiales que encontramos alrededor, de manera sencilla. Entre los dos sabemos un poco de todo (de biocontrucción) y si tu sabes un poco mas pues ya somos super sabios en equipo! Lo ideal es poder funcionar en el día a día como un buen equipo, que alguien esté con Alma si ella lo necesita, otro cocinando, otro trabajando... y los roles vayan cambiando según nuestros sentires. Tambien estamos abiertos a la creatividad e ideas de la gente que venga, tenemos una idea de lo que queremos hacer pero no es cerrada, segun vayamos haciendo el espacio veremos lo que mejor cuadra con los materiales que hay.
  Si nunca has participado en un proyecto asi la idea es comenzar con una cimentacion de cal, luego hacer una parte de carpinteria estructural teniendo en cuenta ventanas y puertas, poner techo, y por ultimo, subir las paredes con arcilla y paja. Depende de cuando vengas estaremos en un proceso u otro.

  Hébergement

  The accommodation will be in a tent, your own or ours. We have a single mattress that can be used, blankets, sheets and towels. At home we do not have hot water and the water we have is from rain and since it rains little, it is necessary to use it very consciously when washing or washing dishes. Very close, a 5-minute walk away, there is a wonderful irrigation pool owned by a neighbor that we use as a pool in the summer months, we go two to three times a day.
  We have a small fridge and a washing machine that you can use whenever you need.
  The bathroom is dry, that is, there is no toilet, rather we compost the feces to later use them as compost.
  It depends on the time of the year there may be mosquitoes or flies, you can be inside the house, which, although it is small, has different environments.
  On Thursdays we go shopping at a nearby market, we mainly eat a vegetarian menu. Everything there is food at home is at your disposal, you are one more.
  It's a little house in the country, so we live with spiders, flies, ants, dust, leaves, lizards... If it disgusts you to see a plate with some dust or that there are leaves on the kitchen floor or ants looking for new treasures around the fruit better not come because you will have a bit of a bad time and it is fighting against nature... :D
  
  
  El alojamiento sera en tienda de campaña, tuya propia o nuestra. Tenemos un colchon individual que se puede usar, mantas, sabanas y toallas. En casa no disponemos de agua caliente y el agua que tenemos es de lluvia y como llueve poco pues es necesario usarla de manera muy consciente a la hora de lavarnos o lavar los platos. Muy cerca, a 5 minutos caminando hay una balsa de riego maravillosa de un vecino que en los meses de verano la usamos como piscina, vamos de dos a tres veces al dia.
  Tenemos una nevera pequeña y una lavadora que puedes usar cuando necesites.
  El baño es seco, o sea no hay un retrete si no que compostamos las heces para luego usarlas como abono.
  Depende de la epoca del año puede haber mosquitos o moscas, puedes estar dentro de la casa, que, aunque es pequeña, tiene diferentes ambientes.
  los jueves vamos a hacer la compra a un mercado cercano, comemos principalmente menu vegetariano. Todo lo que haya de comida en casa esta a tu disposicion, eres uno mas.
  Es una casita en el campo o sea que convivimos con arañas, moscas, hormigas, polvo, hojas, lagartijas... Si te da asco ver un plato con algo de polvo o que haya hojas en el suelo de la cocina u hormigas buscando nuevos tesoros alrededor de la fruta mejor no vengas pues lo pasarás un poco mal.

  We live 20 minutes from the beach, sometimes we go there to spend a few hours with some friends. From our house there are multiple paths to go for a walk. If you like children, Ale's brother lives with his family very close and they usually spend time together, they have two very funny children.
  At home we have many tools so if in your free time you feel like making a wooden spoon, a piece of furniture or any other creative process you can use them.
  With Ale you can learn to sew or make bread or soap if you feel like it.
  Sometimes we go to visit some friends who live in the high mountains, next to a beautiful river.
  We can take days off and go on excursions further to see new places.
  To leave the farm and go to town you need a vehicle or walk about 40 minutes, we have a car and a motorcycle, when we meet and if necessary you can use them in a timely manner.
  
  
  Vivimos a 20 minutos de la playa, a veces vamos alli a pasar unas horas con algunos amigos. Desde nuestra casa hay multiples caminos para ir a pasear, tanto por montaña como por plano. Si te gustan los niños el hermano de Ale viven con su familia muy cerca y suelen pasar tiempo juntos, ellos tienen dos niños muy divertidos.
  En casa tenemos muchas herramientas asi que si en tu tiempo libre te apetece hacer una cuchara de madera, un mueble o cualquier otro proceso creativo puedes usarlas.
  Con Ale puedes aprender a coser o hacer pan o jabones si te apetece.
  Algunas veces vamos a visitar a unas amigas que viven en la alta montaña, junto a un rio precioso.
  Podemos tomarnos dias libres y hacer excursiones mas lejos para conocer nuevos lugares.
  Para salir de la finca e ir al pueblo se necesita un vehiculo o caminar unos 40 minutos, nosotros tenemos un coche y un moto, cuando nos conozcamos y si hace falta puedes usarlos de manera puntual.
