Description
For next summer we are looking for male workawayers to help with paving our garden pathway and possibly some painting etc!
We are a widely traveled family of five (kids 12, 10 and 5) in the western part of Finland looking for extra help around the house. Come join us for a great stay enjoying the countryside and experience the Finnish culture!
You are free to hang out with our animals, drive a four wheeler around the small roads, sup-board or row a boat at our near by river side cottage (that can also be your home if you prefer simple and rustic life without running hot water and indoor toilet but a lot of peace and quiet during the summer), ski, swim in an ice hole, ride a bike, hike or take part in the many art and culture activities that are going on in our town 7 kms away from our house or go treasure hunting in the many amazing second hand shops of the area (no public transport but we can give you a ride if needed). We also get to admire northern lights on most winters and spot wildlife like moose, deer, foxes and big birds during summer from our yard.

Aide
We have three horses, two outdoor cats and one happy dog that all love the extra attention! We need some friendly soul to help with keeping the house and yard tidy, cook if you enjoy and help take care of the animals to some extent. Our garden also desperately needs some work done during summer.
Our kids love to spend time with our guests and will invite you to play straight away!

Hébergement
You will have your own room in our house. Bathroom and kitchen will be shared. During the summer you can also stay in our 150 yr old log cottage in a beautiful setting a couple of kilometers away from our house if you prefer.
You will be eating with our family.

It was a wunderful time for me!! I was by Suvis family for four weeks. The Family is very warmful and they live at a wunderful place. I loved to spend time with them and also with the animals. I learned a lot of the finnish culture. Ice bathing, second hand shops… thanks for all!!

Sybille stayed with us for 5 weeks in the mid winter and was a great help to us! She was always ready to help with everything, with a smile on her face. She fed the animals, cleaned up in the house, babysat, cooked etc and was great company for us! Our home feels like something is missing now that she is gone. We will miss you Sybille!
