Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Elsa)
Elsa stayed for a week and was most helpful with setting up a blog. She also helped me get my house closed as I was leaving on a long trip, so carrying plants, cleaning, etc... During the days she was mostly online doing her own work, but she was available in the evenings and even cooked a couple meals for me and some friends. She has even been

I spend a week and a half with Camille in March and my Boutenac experience could not be better.
Camille is a very generous woman, well-traveled, with a very interesting life- She cooked great food, so I think I gained some weight being there. She ensured that I could practice my french by taking me to her meetings with friends, which was really

About the work itself, I helped with some light DIY, and with a blog that she needed to go exploring Europe and share her experience!
The experience was really nice, we had very interesting conversations and shared travel experiences, and travel tips- Camille is a person very easy to get on well with, very positive attitude, is smiley, and with a great sense of humor. Full of energy!
Thanks for your hospitality in Boutenac!

Harma worked with for me for a month sanding doors in my old home. They had multiple layers of paint and ground in ash and it took a lot of time! Harma was precise and persistent. She had her mobile home with her s o she preferred to sleep there but we had meals together and lively conversations. I can recommend Harma confidently as an

To me the honor and pleasure to be the first Workawayer at Camille’s house. From the first moment on I felt very welcome. Camille is a very friendly and kind host and we had nice conversations and laughed a lot together.
The work that needed to be done was stripping beautiful old wooden doors and repainting them. It was very convenient that I

Camille helped me with bringing the doors overthere as the garage was situated in de next street about 50 m away. For me it was very fulfilling to renew these beautiful doors and it was a nice experience for me to work with wood.
The little village Boutenac is a beautiful old village. From there on there was a lot to see and I visited many nice places in the land of the Kanthares. Camille and her friends took me on a trip to the salt fields near the sea where we could also see the wonderful pink flamingo’s.
Further on she cookes delicious meals (think I gained some weight :) ).
Her cat Winston is a cuty. My little dog Nadim had a little experience with cats, but as Winston is really relaxed and sweet, it al worked out well.
As I’m travelling around in my campervan, I had it parked near the Mediatheque, a few streets away. This was a perfect solution as Camille’s house is situated near a narrow road where is only space for normal cars.
Looking back at the month I was in Boutenac I can only say that it was a great experience, so I highly recommand this host and hope to come back here some day.Feedback
