Description
Hi
We have just moved and downsized and need help with a new garden.. We live on a 1 ha property in the far north, just off SH1 (the main north-south route) about 5 mins from Waipapa and 10 mins from Kerikeri. Your own transport would be ideal, but we can provide lifts to most places like Paihia beaches, Ngawha hot pools. Angela speaks fluent German and enough French to cope with basics.
We have two dogs, a very small orchard and a neglected garden.

We need help with the garden and general maintenance (pruning, weeding, painting). You need to be happy to use basic equipment (ride on mower, power trimmer, power tools) once shown how.

My time by Peter and Angela was amazing! Both of them are soo cute and always really helpful. They gave me plenty of advices what I can do in their area and they have not hesitated to drive me to some places. Their dogs are lovely, really good trained and they always want to play with you :)

Julia stayed with us a week doing general gardening (chipping, weeding, wall rebuilding). A hard worker who did everything well despite it being very hot. She speaks excellent English, is a lot of fun and is a good mixer . The dogs will miss her and Julia would be welcome back any time. We wish her well in her onward travel.

Jack stayed with us for a week. He is a pleasant young man who mixed in well and did everything asked of him enthusiastically. The work was pretty mixed and included ditch digging, tree chipping and washing house walls. We wish him well in his onward travels in NZ.

A very nice couple, who mixed in well, entertained the dogs and did every job we asked without a problem. It was mostly gardening, but Phil also displayed his versatility setting up a pond filter and pump system. They would be welcome back and we wish them well in their onward travels

I spent a wonderful week with Angela, Peter and their two lovely dogs. They showed me a lot in the area and I saw many things that I didn't know before. The work was very varied and I could use some nice machines in the garden. We talked about the places we traveled to, different cultures and several other things.

Quentin is a quiet and pleasant young man who speaks good English and mixed in well. He did everything we asked well (mainly gardening) and the fish pond he helped construct looks good and should last many years. He enjoyed the company of the dogs who will miss him. Katia and Zuzana stayed with us for two weeks. They speak excellent English and mixed in well, coping with Kiwi humour and cooked us a nice Czech meal. Well, we stayed in the house of Angela and Peter for two weeks. We had a great time in there. The work was shredding tree almost every day. Ary and Flor stayed with us for two weeks. They are a pleasant couple who speak good English and fitted in well. Most of the work was fairly boring shredding tree branches day after day, but they did everything asked cheerfully. We learned a lot about Argentina and Flor cooked us a nice Argentinian meal.
