  Description

  I live in my own house sitting atop a deep valley on 8 acres of family land. We are in North Auckland, right after the suburbs become bush.
  
  I have my 5 y/o boy Galileo half the time, I'm not looking for a baby sitter but you'd need to enjoy occasionally sharing space with an energetic kid.
  
  My hobbies include yoga, breathplay, holding wood fire sessions, gym & sauna, ecstatic dance, drum circles and tea ceremony.

  I run a seasonal astrotourism project showing the planets, stars and mythology to tourists. I like to talk about space and time as a son of Rā (Sun).
  
  My mum grew up on a marae (tribal village) and through my own relationship to Papatuānuku (Earth), I am directing my mauri (life force) to remember and grow new culture.
  
  The most pressing imbalance between these two in is the industrial deforestation of Tāne (trees, birds, bees). Organic regrowth is my part to play. I can't do this alone and need more hands and art beats

  Aide

  I teach gardening for an established nonprofit (8&9 year olds for 3 half days per week. 1-3 days of your workdays could be volunteering with me and the kids and learn about companion (polyculture) gardening along the way. This is not hard work but does require capacity for emotional labour, keeping calm with disregulated kids.
  
  On the homestead front, our family is reforesting our 8 acres of grass paddocks. I am taking the lead on with experiments in agroforestry. Once the development road is complete I'll have access to my acre with its long established native bush which I intend to one day start a forest school. Phasing out the sharp blackberry organically is the current mission for this piece which requires much idealistic observation and practical experimentation.
  
  At my place I grow veggie and herb seedlings in my green houses and keep 10 laying chickens which need regular care. If you have experience in food preparation and/or preservation I'm very interested in exploring the various ways to incorporate & stockpile the exotic plant propogations I'm producing.
  
  In short I'm seeking an earthy human who enjoys interacting with kids.

  > Glasshouse on our future forest school land (15 minute walk from facilities)
  
  I can provide all the veggies needed and source unlimited bulk staples (sweet potato, rice, beans, cereals, herbs, coconut milk/cream, oils).
  
  Happy to share dinner whenever it flows - as for me I thrive when I eat high fat (curry/soups) and low/no wheat (bread/pasta)
