Thank you for letting me stay for 3 weeks. I liked talking with Anna and Christian while drinking coffee, tee or alcohol. I also enjoyed a lot of time with two girls. Anna and Christian gave me a lot of information about sightseeing and I could enjoy holidays too. I'd like to come back again.

Too short a time for such a great person. Mathilde was part of our family from the very first minute. She was a great help with everything that came up.
The conversations with her were exciting, intelligent and funny.
She is very attentive and helpful, knows how to get involved everywhere and is always respectful and in a good mood.

… read more much pleasure in discovering Marilène and Ameline, who are playful, full of life, so sweet and kind (be warned, you get attached quickly and it's hard to leave ! :) ). Anna and Christian are attentive to others, they did everything to put me at ease and they made sure the work I had to do was clear and suited me. I was able to help them in the garden by planting and moving plants. I was also able to help with levelling the ground in the garage, harvesting and drying aromatic herbs and doing various tasks around the house. It was a real pleasure to discover their ideas and to help them turn them into reality. To the all family that I like so much, a huge thank you for this timeless stay, I cherish the memories and emotions we shared. I hope to see you soon (à Paris ou ailleurs❤️)

We really enjoyed the time with Saruby. She helped us with many things in the house, with the children and when there was no rain outside. Our two daughters also enjoyed it with Saruby. Marilène and Saruby were able to play and read together, which helped us a lot. Saruby has cooked fantastic Indian dishes, great desserts and delicious chai. She
… read more sweetened our everyday life and took us on a little journey into Indian cuisine.
Saruby is open and lovingly. She took matters into her own hands and explored the area on her own. The two weeks went by very quickly and were a great experience. We wish her all the best with her PhD and a good time in Europe :-)

I am immensely grateful that in my first workaway I had the opportunity to be a part of this family! Ana and Christian were warm and welcoming hosts. They were very helpful and kind, thoughtfully organizing everything to meet my interests. While we had quite a few rainy days during my stay, I still managed to learn some gardening basics and also

Moreover, I enjoyed our cultural exchange: we would often cook cuisine from different countries and have interesting discussions over a variety of topics. I also loved playing and spending time with Marilène and Améline. I improved upon my German while interacting with Marilène, and was pleasantly surprised when she picked up the German version of a Beatles song from me! I was happy to be a part of the memorable social outings organized by Ana and Christian, which included a sunny day barbecue, trying out the delicious "Spaghetti" at an Italian ice cream place, and playing with Ana's family dog Smila. I found the 1.5 weeks spent in Ellweiler to be a relaxing and new experience. … read more some project together like building the tomato house. Christian and Anna are really sweet, kind and likable people with two beautiful and cute daughters. I've really appreciated their way of living and their positive idea of people and life in general.
I have many amazing memories about these days: cooking all together, drinking some "feierabendbier" and doing the vegetarian barbecue, but I could carry on more.

He was able to complete all tasks (painting, sanding, jointing) independently and excellently. Together we built most of the tomato house and had a lot of fun doing it. We cooked German and Italian dishes together (Thx for the frico) and of course there was also a beer tasting. We are very grateful for the time with Alberto.

… read more everyday, watched a movie, took some long walks and also some bigger trips to the Bostalsee and Heidelberg. Anna and Christian are very inspiring persons, that have traveled a lot themselves and gathered experience in many topics. So the time with them will never get boring.
All in all it was a very inspiring stay. I saw a lot of new places, met many new people (friends and family of Anna and Christian) and learned about interesting topics.

We had a great time with Marlene. We realized some projects together, which helps us a lot. The exchange with her was exciting. We learned a lot from her and her skills. She helps where possible, she is attentive and very respectful. Our daughter had fun with her. In all it was in asset.
