  Description

  We are Lea and Fredi, a nature-loving young and curious couple with an old farmhouse in the beautiful nature of the Bavarian Alps. We left the big city life behind back to our home region and for about three years now, we have been renovating the traditional wooden farmhouse with a lot of our own work, ecological and local materials and old building techniques. Surrounding us is a nature reserve, an untouched piece of alpine landscape where many rare plants and an intact animal world can be found: we have wild orchids, an old orchard with apple and pear trees, many birds and even deer that come right up to the house. We are committed to a welcoming, positive and open-minded lifestyle, we enjoy new experiences and love to connect to new friends from all over the world!
  
  We can host for about 4 days over a weekend, as we both are working in our jobs during the week.

  We are very interested in getting to know other cultures, keep developing and finding out about new sensations. Cooking together with friends is a great pleasure for us, exchanging recipes, tastes and the storys behind the dishes and the people. We can teach you how to bake traditional german bread from our homemade sourdough or how to prepare Kässpatzen or Kaspressknödelsuppe :):) we'd also love to try your flavors and learn about your culture! We prefer regional and seasonal ingredients, luckily we have a lot of organic farmers close by. Lea can explain a lot about local herbs, plants and wildlife, or you can have a yoga session together.

  Aide

  We enjoy good company and getting to know like-minded people and their ways of life. When we're not just travelling with our camper, the world is welcome to visit us at home for some international vibes! In addition, any helping hand around our old house and the garden and nature around it is of course welcome: as we heat with wood, help with stacking firewood is very appreciated.

  We are interested to learn some basic Japanese, Korean or Chinese, we love the food and the friendly people in these countries. We're also interested in scandinavian culture and our european neighbors :):)

  Hébergement

  In our house there is a small guest room for a maximum of two people, kitchen and bathroom are shared
  
  Our kitchen is at your disposal, we have breakfast early in the morning during the week and cook fresh meals in the evening. You are welcome to join, or let's cook together!
  
  In our house we have a small sauna which is very common here in the Alps. We love this german tradition as a source of health and serenity, during snow times or on chill summer evenings. We make the steam on the oven with herbs and tree branches we collect in our surroundings.

  Autres infos...

  Our home is located between Kempten and Füssen at an altitude of almost 1000 meters in the Allgäu Alps on the edge of a village in an absolutely secluded location. Our village is the starting point for numerous hikes and bike tours, cross-country skiing is nearby. The nearest lakes are only a few 100 meters away. We have a lot of snow during winter, so be prepared for cold weather :) There is a small train station in the village from which you can travel to Kempten and from there on to Munich. There is also a bus connection to Neuschwanstein Castle, you can visit it as a day trip from our place.
