  Description

  Hello, we're a family of 5 with 3 gentle and funny kids (5, 8 and 10) who live close to Como, in a small town fully immersed in the nature. We like the idea to let our kids be in contact with different culture, in particular english mother tougue, to profit of english improving. We're looking during the year people who can share their culture and help us principally with the kids (during the summer time- school break) or with house/garden during the rest of the year. So according to the period you're looking for, the support we ask could be different. During the summer time, we live in a beauful place where you can swim in the pool, walking in the wood, play tennis, soccer etc etc...so it's easy pass the days. During the rest of the year, all of us are out of house all the day, so we could ask for light chores in the house and stay with the kids late afernoon. For us the meal moment (principally the dinner) is very important, it's a beautiful and caothic moment during whinch we can share what happen during the day and suggest you place to visit, curiosity of italy.....The kids perfectly understand english and also speaks (maybe not perfectly) since the attended to a bilingual montessori school. They are sportive kids: the oldest practice thriatlon and tennis so during the week they have also sport training. We try to live in a genuine and natural way so no smoking, junky food etc..... we eat more or less everything (maybe less meat even if we're not totally vegetarian). We’re looking for someone who like sharing his/her culture with an italian family and while passing time with them could help to teach English .

  In the family we usually speak italian and so we could teach you italian too. We are close to big nice cities as Como, Lugano, Milano....

  Aide

  Basically we're looking for a person who during the day could eventually help with light staff in the house (keep just clean and in order) or eventually gardening and, when the kids are at home (late afernoon), could pass time with them speaking in english. Be sportive and be able to play an instrument are very appreciate. During the summer the kids are at home so the idea should be focus your help to stay with them while I and my husband are at work. In case of necessity, we can define occasionally also a flexible time…for example in case of need during the week and or an evening.

  we are italian family who speaks english. I know a basic french in case. Mostly we're interested in improving our english.

  Hébergement

  you will have your own room and a bathroom dedicated that we kidly ask you to keep clean and in order. we live in an indipendent house with garden inside a residence with other families. There're some common space in the residecen that are available for the host: swimming pool (open only in summer time), tennis ground, playground....and around us there're woods. we're at 2 km from the closest small town where you can take a bus to reach Como.

  we can leand you a bike to move close around and reach the small town but in any case every day I and my husband move by car to reach our job and you could profit of our car ride.
