Description
We are a animal friendly community engaged with farming, fruit growing and forestry.
Besides me Leonora is my agro-partner who leads permaculture farming and Žan who is car mechanic and his girlfriend Zala. We are almost in the centre of sLOVEnia, near Litija. We hope to become self-sustaining because we have two springs of water, 12 ha of forest, a lot of healthy fertile land and also a big green house.
I'm still working in Ljubljana between Monday and Thursday when you may join me for the ride from Ljubljana to the farm on the afternoon. If you come on the other days is the most convinient to take a train to Litija and we may help you with a transport from Litija to the farm.
Independently from Ljubljana you may take a train to Litija and (only on a workdays catch a bus (or hitchhike) to Cerovica (direction Gabrovka) at 12.23, 14.28, 15.38 and 17.18. From Cerovica you continue 300m and walk uphill for 2km or hitchhike what is easy.
We may provide you, mostly private, accommodation and plant based food for three meals a day and expect from you to participate in the help up to 5hours a day, 5 days a weel. It is expected that your rest days are between Monday and Thursday. LONG TERM OR PERMANENT COHABITATION IS ALSO POSSIBLE as well as the possibility of taking over the farm in a few years.
So far i traveled 150 countries, 84 on a bicycle, run 10 marathons and hosted more than 1200 guests in Ljubljana and on the farm.
I speak Croatian, English, Italian, Spanish and a bit of French, German, Portuguese and Bahasa.

There are currently two apartments available. Three-room and two-room. It is also possible to camp, but we do not have the equipment for it.

Public transport is two km away and 11 km away is the train station. From there it is a half hour drive to Ljubljana. A few km away is Bogenšperk Castle, and the Sitarjevec mine is 10 km away.

Spending time at Robin's farm and home was a joy... The work was not too much and the food was great! My first time spending a week as a vegetarian and I have to say I was surprised by how much I enjoyed robins cooking! I'm looking forward to my next visit someday

It was my pleasure meeting Villem and having him on a farm. He impressed me playing beautiful Estonian songs on accordion and he did a lot of good works on my farm. Unfortunately I was most of the time he was here away, so we didn't have many opportunities for socializing. He cleaned very well also apartment and he attached the shower handle well.

I made agreement with Peter that he will stay for a week and he started with wood cutting very enthusiasticly and very professionally. Because I have to leave to Ljubljana for a couple of days third day I left him a food for lunch. But a day later he disappeared withut a word or message and didn't explain why he left.
