Description

Hello from our family- Joel , Aviva and our son Lev. Joel and I met 12 years ago while working on a farm. Fast forward a decade and more we have cultivated a beautiful life of an overflowing fruit and veggie garden, built careers supporting farmers locally and nationally, and had a son who shares our love for the outdoors.

The best way to end a day is cooking a meal and sharing with friends. We’re inspired to learn more about how people grow food in different parts ofof the world and heal nature in the process. A little music on the side doesn’t hurt!

We are avid travelers and have visited 13 countries together and lived and worked on farms and conservation projects in Italy and South Africa. We are planning a year of travel in 2026 and are eager to find the right work away to connect with nature and the local community. Our son will be 18-24 months during our travel. We speak Spanish and English and understand Hebrew.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are experienced gardeners - we can germinate seeds, prune trees, build compost, set up irrigation and swales, harvest, build trellises. Also experienced in taking care of chickens, and cob building. Good at plant identification and happy pulling weeds. Basic building and repair skills. Well versed in permaculture and regenerative principles. Take care of the soil and the ecosystem because we are what we eat.

Have some experience and a LOT of interest in bee keeping.

Aviva is an artist and also happy to support on projects to beautify a place.

We love to play…backgammon, strategy games, word games, drumming and singing, sharing travel stories, cooking, sitting around the fire, a long hike with a good swim.
