Help growing healthy Veggies at a beautiful Eco Farm in Bavaria , Germany

  Description

  An old, abandoned farm, beautifully situated on a hill, in the middle of Bavaria will be turned into an Eco Farm over the next few years. Its located near Bad Birnbach, a recreation and golf area near Passau, next to the Austrian border.
  
  As it was abandoned for over 40 years, theres a lot of work to do. The beginning is made. We removed a lot of old stuff which was distributed around the buildings, cut trees and bushes and started to build a traditional hut.
  
  We now start growing vegetables like potatoes, onions, salad, carrots an so on. We've also a greenhouse which helps us when its getting colder.
  
  So if you like working outside on the field and in the garden you're exactly right. We´re always eating and drinking together so theres also work in the kitchen. No special skills are needed, just motivation and good vibes ;-)
  
  My name is Felix, im 34, I bought the farm and over one acre of land last year. Im a freelancer software developer, so my free time can be arranged quite easily.
  Im traveled a lot over the last years. I was in Asia, Australia, North and South America and did an Erasmus exchange in Barcelona. So I´m always interested in meeting new people from all over the world.

  You can contribute to building an ecologic production of goods, especially vegetables, learn some German and Bavarian, enjoy a lot of good beer. Visit all the beautiful places around, like Passau, Salzburg, München, the Alps, Several lakes, the Bavarian Forrest. And if you´re here in Summer and Covid is gone you can enjoy all the fantastic beer festivals like Oktoberfest.

  Hébergement

  Basic Accommodation in Caravan, We´re still renovation the actual Farm houses.
  
  We will cook food for us or provide food to be prepared for the workawayers. In summer we will harvest our own vegetables from the garden. If we´re not in the mood to cook or don´t have time we´ll invite the workawayers to the local restaurants.

  In our are are a lot of restaurants, the nearest 200m away, there are several Thermal Baths in the area, Golf spots, nice lakes and hiking tracks.

  There is a lot of space where you can park you caravan. Water and electricity is provided. I by myself have an old Volkswagen T3 Caravan.
