Description
hello, we are Eran and Neta, and we want to welcome you to our little farm, in south Alentejo, surrounded by nature.
Eran has been living in Portugal for the last 7 years, and bought this farm in 2020.
before that he was like you, working and volunteering on eco projects permaculture farms and intentional communities for many years, learning many skills, both practical and emotional.
he is a carpenter and permaculture designer. in the past he was working in a technical special effects for Cinema, building solar systems, wood houses and irrigation systems.
Neta is practicing and teaching ‘family constellation’ and ‘a course in miracles’ for many years, and has moved to Portugal last year.
we have 2 sweet and friendly cats.
we believe in simple life and that work should be fun.
what we are building is a paradise playground, a place where practical simplicity can meet creativity, honest communication and fun.
we are aiming to create two main spaces on the land:
*A makerspace that is an open workshop for people to bring in their work and share the space or learn new skills like carpentry, welding and DIY permaculture solutions.
*A space where we can research ourselves and our relations, through contact improvisation, family constellation and other healing practices.
we are inviting creative, open minded, positive human beings, to join us.
it should go without saying ... we are LGBTQ+ friendly :)
for us life and work is play.

we love to share our experience in life and our skills, both in matter and spirit.
Welcome to join our never ending journey towards being a more happy, simple, functional loving human being :)
Aide
we are looking for people to help us in :
- Natural building in wood, metal and clay of these spaces:
tool shed
- compost toilets, outdoor showers
- renovating the main house
- makerspace
- Taking care of the land, fruit trees the veggie garden.
- cooking for the people that are on the land.
We are happy to share our knowledge and happy to learn from you.
The work is not complicated and anybody can learn.
we will try that there will be different options for work to choose from
and the opportunity to learn new things.
4 to 5 hours a day 5 days a week that can be flexible (sometimes we like to work a full day and then take a day off)

Hébergement
For this winter we have a sweet caravan/trailer that can be heated with a double bed.
Shared hot showers, compost toilets and a kitchen, are in the main house where we live.
the living room in the house can be shared part of the time.

it is a very beautiful and quiet area and a bit remote. if you don't have a car we can pick you up from the bus in luzianes or from the train station "Santa Clara saboia"
we prefer people to be independent ( have a car :)
you're also welcome to park your van on the land.
we will cook together vegetarian food
we are not smoking tobacco but smokers are welcome with respect
We love to listen to music during the day.
In your spare time :
30 minutes walk from us there is a nice lake to swim in.
10 minutes by car is the Santa Clara barragem that is the biggest lake in south Portugal.
there are many trails to walk around in nature.
