Who we are: 1 adult?; 1 new born! ; 2 horses; 1 dog; 1 kitty cat;
Person 1= Pangla. they/them/it. I like training and playing with animals and eating (and creating) really good food. I come from a colombo-ital-usa family. I have spent a little less than half my life in and out of Colombia. I have four years of continuos living in rural Colombia. August 2022 I am deliver my first child and looking for help primarily with housework (cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes, sweeping) in the months after delivery. That said, there will most likely still be tasks in the vegetable garden and with the animals. I work from home as a freelance interpreter/translator. I am currently taking a pause from my Masters program (evo-devo, biology, human evolution) to dedicate my energy to bringing new life into the world. My partner, still lives in Bogotá, but is a frequent visitor. He writes and directs screenplays for theater.

What Panlga does: animal husbandry. vegetable gardening. fermentation. traditional food preservation.....or, maybe when you come I will only be breastfeeding, cleaning baby, sleeping, and eating?

Why it does: Punk meaning: without borders; without hierarchy; Food Not Bombs; Bike Not Bombs; voting with your wallet, dumpster-diving, Crimethinc; demonstrations; strikes; boycotts; self-sufficiency as a way to create the alternative to reliance on big business; using money as an ultimate option; looking for and creating ways to make "clean money".

Humano 1: Pangla. Elle. Me gusta entrenar y jugar con animales, me gusta comer (y crear) platos deliciosos. Vengo de una familia colombo-ital-eeuu. He pasado un poco menos que la mitad de mi vida en Colombia. Los últimos 4 años, he he vivido en una zona rural de Colombia. En agosto 2022 voy a dar a luz a mi primer hij@ y para los meses después, estoy buscando quien me ayuda principalmente con los quehaceres de la casa (cocinar, limpiar, lavar ropa, losa, barrer, ayudar con los animales). Sin embargo, imagino que también habrá que hacer en la huerta y con los animales. Trabajo desde la casa como traductor/interprete independiente. Estoy tomando una pausa de mi maestria para enfocar mi energía en traer nueva vida al mundo. Mi pareja aún vive en Bogotá, pero es up visitante frequente. Escribe y dirige obras de teatro.

Que hace pangla?: construir comunidad mientras mejoramos la casa y el terreno de la finca.
Pangla: cuidado de animales. huerta. fermentación. preservación de comida tradicional.....o quizas cuando vienes, solo estoy mamando bebe, limpiando bebe, dormiendo, y cominedo?

Porque hace Pangla?: punk en el sentido de: sin fronteras; sin jerarquía; Food Not Bombs; Bike Not Bombs; Revolucion de la Cuchara, cosechando en las basureras, Crimethinc; demonstraciones; huelgas; boicots; autosostenibilidad para crear la alternativa de la dependencia a las grandes corporaciones del mundo; utilizando plata como ultima opción; buscando y creando maneras de ganar plata "limpia".

Volunteers have a private room in a room with a bunkbed.

I offer 3 meals a day. I have a fridge. If you want to do your laundry while here, you are welcome to use the wash station and please bring your own soap.

Ofrezco tres comidas al día. Tengo nevera. Si desean lavar su ropa aca, pueden utilizar el lavadero y por favor traigan su jabón.

I am about 2 hours away from bogota. there are hot water springs and paramo nearby for hiking trips. I live on a mountain between two rivers in which we can swim. the closest rural store is a 7 minute walk.

Vivo un promedio de 2 horas afuera de bogota. Hay aguas calientes y paramos cerca. Vivo en una montaña entre dos ríos en cuales podemos nadar. vivo 7 minutos caminando desde la tienda mas cercana.

I have satellite internet. The work space is in a common space that would be shared with at least Pangla. We would need to discus before arrival how to work out your staying, working, and helping in the house.
