Description
We are a family owned lodge, we have just opened a Lodge overlooking the Cordillara Blanca. Caraz is a charming town just an hour from Huaraz. From Caraz treks as the santa Cruz, Laguna Paron, Cañon del Pato, Laguna 69 are all easily accessible.I am a certified trekking guide in Perú.

Direct contact with local people, Caraz is a small town plenty of alive culture. Many of inhabitants speak Quechua which is the principal language in this region. The market an the main square are the principal points for a cultural exchange.

Aide
Tasks include taking care of the Lodge. Cleaning, making the beds and receiving the guest, explaining about the lodge and any info about the region, helping out with any other kind of work there is, like a small organic farm. Since 2024 we are building a Birds Garden, so we need more help in this new proyect.

Our Lodge is a 10 rooms. Also their is a kitchen, living room and TV room. Big gardens with a Birds Garden proyect.

Caraz is a charming little town located at the foothill of the Cordillera Blanca (one hour from Huaraz) where the famous Santa Cruz trek starts, easy access to the lagunas Paron, Llanganuco and 69, Cañón del Pato and Winchus Viewpoint .Lots of day walks to be done.It has a beautiful market, nice restaurants.Workaway can help by helping the tourist to know about Caraz many of the travellers do not know about this beautiful place but once they come they all have positive feedback.
