Description
Located in the heart of Sámara in a quiet street about 100 meters from the beach and the bus stop, our hostel is well known for it's social and friendly atmosphere. Shops, supermarkets and nightlife are close by.
For those who are traveling to Sámara and like to stay for 4 weeks or longer we offer work-away positions in our hostel.
Our Volunteers help 24 hours in 5 day per week.
Cleaning and preparing the Hostel
Reception work – Check in, Check out, add reservation, take phone calls
look after our guests if they need anything
You are welcome to have your own ideas or DIYs for the Hostel – be creative! :)
In exchange you'll get a bed in the 6-Bed dorm (or in low season maybe possible a private room), free using washing machine, free Coffee, BBQ and new friends :)
My partner local from here, he will surely help you to improve your Spanish.
We are a friendly, social Hostel and always treat our Voluntaries very well :)
Just one more important thing.
Also to be accepted for this position you'll need to speak a MINIMUM LEVEL OF SPANISH to be able to answer phone calls and emails.

I stayed here for 3 months (2 months longer than expected) and I had an amazing time! The beach is only a couple minutes away and many of my days here were filled with learning to surf and playing beach volleyball, there’s also a bunch of other things to do and see. This was just the most wonderful workaway! The work was short hours and light work, which gave much time to pat attention to little detail keeping the hostel a nice place for guests and you to stay! Katie is a very special person. With her nice, open and calm charisma you just have to like her! She does her things neatly and independently without a lot of explanation.
She upgrade our kitchen with a beautiful painting! Each day we love it more!

Dani is an energetic, attentive young man you can rely on. He has always worked well whether it was cleaning or gardening! He was also an asset to the whole hostel. He is super open, goes to others and has always taken great care of the guests! :)

Fantastico, excelente, maravillosisisisimo!!! One of the best guys ever. He was volunteering more than two months and from the first day to the last Adrien was part of the family and did the tasks with enthusiasm and diligence.

I stayed a month in Samara. It was my first experience in a hostel an its was really good.
There wasn't any difficult task: cleaning, receive the guest and a bit of gardening. I was there in low season so its was a relaxing work. Fran and Oscar are very good people and i enjoyed stay with them.

I spend nearly 1 month here, wish I had more time. Samará is a very relaxed place and so ist the Hostel, that will feel like your home in a second. Fran and Oskar are very nice and welcoming. Make sure to play 10000 with them :) The work was easy and the hours flexible, if we wanted to go to one of the beautiful beaches nearby.

Completed a one month workaway here in September and I cannot recommend it enough! It was my first workaway experience, and Fran & Oscar made me feel right at home. Michelle was a great Volunteer. She fit in our Hostel perfectly and helped us out with reception work and cleaning. She was very social and friendly and was able to speak 3 languages. I stayed three weeks in this hostel and it was an amazing experience! The job is pretty easy, the town really chill and there is a lot of beautifull spots to see around, also a lot of activities to do, and you will feel like home at the hostel. Do not hesitate to go there ! Hope i'll get to come back someday :)

Great! Jen and Fran are very welcoming and they have a wonderful hostel. It has a community feel, that as a solo traveler, I really liked. The town is peaceful, but they are still good spots to go out. The people are great and the job is easy. I would highly recommend this hostel and I hope to be back someday!
