    Description

I'm an environmental expedition leader in a National Park based in Baja California Sur, Mexico. I helped to organize the National Park in 1995 and since then it has become the healthiest coral reef in the world. In order to become sustainable I opened a little restaurant where we sell pizza, breakfast, Mexican and vegan food and offer bar service, Massage Health Service Also we are building the firts glamping place here in the National Park for all the Visitors come from all over the world, many interested in scuba diving and snorkeling. We have several dive centers that got established after it became a Protected Marine National Park so if you are interested in learning to snorkel and dive, this is the right place for you!

Travelers will have an opportunity to learn about permaculture, farming, cooking, sustainability and solar power systems. They would have access to kayaking and to some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving in the world, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the coral reefs and its habitat. There is also the opportunity to see sea turtles and help in the protection, care and release of sea turtle eggs and babies. on season Travelers would have an opportunity to learn Spanish or English. We have very dark skies due to its minimal light polution, which makes it a fantastic place for star gazing, and it is common to see the milky way and shooting stars. and ,life style in a very pristine place off the grid .

Travelers would assist in educating visitors about the National Park and the coral reefs, dive sites, beaches, camping areas, etc. They would also help to start a community farm for our daily produce for ourselves and the visitors, we also need help on the service ,feed our animals such as dogs , rabit ,tourtle, fish and birds . Travelers would gain knowledge in solar energy systems, as we are entirely run on solar power and is completely off the grid. Our main focus is on sustainability and the protection of the environment and the park.

We are a tiny community of approximately 150 people that operates exclusively on solar energy. It is located about 30 minutes away from the town of La Ribera, and about 1.5 hours from Los Cabos International airport. We are located right in front of the National Park! The beach is only a short 5 minute walk from the restaurant and Visitor Center. We have kayaks and snorkeling gear available, and unlimited WiFi. The local people are very friendly, with most people working as scuba and snorkeling guides, which are the main activities here, but they also provide kayaking tours , horseback riding tours. etc. In short, this is a great place to enjoy the ocean, the desert, the dark skies, and nature in general.
