  Description

  We are Harry and Petra, a Dutch couple who moved 8 years ago to the Portugal, Algarve . In 2025 we bought an amazing rural property which we need help for since its big and we love to leave it better than we found it. We have 2 cats, a dog and chickens and a big food garden and fruit trees to be taken care of. There is always work to do in different fields and we are looking for people who don’t mind helping us with all of them - so we are looking for people who don’t mind doing physical work. Tasks contain: gardening such as weeding, planting seeds/ walking our dog Coco/ household tasks such as cleaning in our house or our cars/ cleaning of the land such as cutting branches/ help with the chickens such as keep the coop clean/ supplying them with water. We always love to connect, share our knowledge and you can enjoy our land as much as we do ourselves. We think a couple would fit here.

  When you will live at our place you will learn a lot how it is to run a farm and how to maintain a land. And since we are food, garden, surf and music lovers we love to share a bit of that too :)

  Hébergement

  We either have a beautiful spot for your van on our land where you can use our bathroom or we have a caravan available for a couple where you can cook yourself, sit outside, there is a compost toilet and running water outside. You will have your own privacy

  Autres infos...

  We prefer people who can work for us about 3 hours a day in exchange for accommodation and you can take veggies and fruits from our garden. Also once a week we love to host a dinner and of course an occasional coffee etc, we provide gas for cooking. It’s important to have your own car since public transport is limited here.
