You welcomed us like a family from the first moment, always attentive to everything we needed. Thank you also for helping us with our English. We loved all the excellent meals you cooked for us and the food that was provided to us. Thank you for the accommodation and for the privacy we had. We loved your sea 10 minutes from home. There are not enough words to thank you for everything you have given us. You are and will remain an important piece in our life. We will carry in our hearts all the advice you have given us and the reflections you have made do.We hope to see you again soon for a game of table tennis 😉

… read more fun and varied. We helped with some gardening (mostly weeding), cleaning, organising and odd DIY jobs, as well as running a few errands with Marion.
The best part about staying here was getting to explore most of Kos in our free time, and both Marion and Kuldip were very willing to drive us to different places. We also went to many restaurants with them and even got the amazing opportunity to visit Aphrodisios and Pamukkale in Turkey for two days! They really made us feel like part of their family, while still giving us plenty of space and privacy.
We worked from 8am until 10:30 when we had a break, then worked until around 2pm when we had lunch and finished for the day. It was very flexible, and we could take our days off whenever we liked. We sometimes ate with Marion and Kuldip, but mostly we cooked our own food which they bought for us.
They are very easy to communicate with, and very flexible and accommodating. We probably would have seen less of Kos if we had been on holiday there!
We will miss our afternoon walks into Mastichari and the beach, as well as our philosophical discussions. We have both learned so much from these unique people, and will carry the memories of our time here with us forever. So thank you Marion and Kuldip, say hi to Snoozy, Zena and the chickens for us, and we will hopefully meet again, maybe in Greece or in Switzerland!
We adored having Molly and Hiram .Molly is a great organiser and cook and highly emotionally and academically intelligent beyond her years ,yet humble.In short, emotionally mature as is Hiram who is a DIY whizz kid with a lot of life experience , especially from a cultural perspective .

… read more relaxed having them around . To be honest we felt very grateful to have had this privilege and help from two wonderful human beings who are wise and mature beyond their years . Molly is very interesting and knowledgeable on a wide range of subjects as is Hiram and though very different, they compliment each other sooo well with both their skill sets and as human beings , Yes,Molly is a little quiet at first but this is in no way negative I like that and she can chat on a range of subjecs as time goes on, I learned a lot too from both of these wonderful human beings . Honest in their communication , very appreciative , hard working kind and loving ,If you are lucky enough to receive help from this couple , you are truly blessed!

… read more unser Wohlbefinden eingesetzt und uns spüren lassen, dass wir in ihrem Zuhause willkommen sind. Ihre liebevolle Art war selbst auf Distanz deutlich spürbar und hat unser Gefühl von Geborgenheit nur noch verstärkt.
Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir die Hühner gehütet, die uns im Alltag viel Freude geschenkt haben. Es war für uns eine heilsame Erfahrung, mehr über die Bedürfnisse dieser Tiere zu lernen und ihre Gesellschaft zu geniessen. Zudem haben wir im Garten gearbeitet und ein Holz-Sichtschutzprojekt umgesetzt.
Für uns war diese Zeit nicht nur ein WorkAway-Aufenthalt, sondern auch eine wertvolle Möglichkeit, wieder zu uns selbst zu finden, zur Ruhe zu kommen und das einfache Leben im Einklang mit der Natur zu geniessen.
Wir sind Marion und Kuldeep zutiefst dankbar für ihr Vertrauen – ihr Zuhause haben wir mit grösstem Respekt und Fürsorge behandelt, als wäre es unser eigenes. Wir freuen uns sehr auf ein persönliches Treffen in der Schweiz in der Zukunft.

Marion accepted my last-minute request (literally the night before my arrival in Kos), even though I would only be on the island for 5 days.
During the few days we were able to spend together, she always maintained a friendly and attentive attitude towards me. The work shift was quite flexible, as it's necessary to start early in the summer (6:30

She invited me to try out some restaurants, introduced me to her friends, and we even practiced SUP yoga together!
