  Description

  We are a small, family-run hotel in Bohinjska Bistrica, Slovenia, right at the edge of Triglav National Park, where the rivers Bistrica and Sava Bohinjka meet. Our hotel combines traditional charm with modern sustainability—we built it using natural, locally sourced materials and designed it to be cozy, welcoming, and eco-conscious.
  
  Our property has a rich history: it was once a tannery in the late 19th and early 20th century, and we’ve preserved its heritage while creating a warm space for guests from all over the world.
  
  We’re looking for Workawayers who enjoy hospitality, teamwork, and being part of a dynamic, friendly environment. Depending on your interests, tasks may include welcoming guests, helping with breakfast, maintaining the hotel, or assisting with small creative or practical projects.
  
  In return, you’ll get to live and work in a beautiful natural setting, meet international travelers, and be part of a project that values sustainability, tradition, and genuine hospitality.
  
  As we are registered as a business host, we provide free accommodation plus monetary payment in line with local labor regulations. All Workawayers are paid at least the legal minimum wage of Slovenia for every hour worked.
  
  Please ensure you have the appropriate visa/work permit and insurance required for paid work in Slovenia.

  We are looking for friendly, reliable people to help in our small family-run hotel. Typical tasks include:

  We are happy to adapt tasks based on your skills and interests. Whether you enjoy working directly with guests, assisting behind the scenes, or contributing to practical or creative projects, there is plenty of variety.

  Hébergement

  This year, we offer two separate rooms available for workers year-round for Workawayers, with a double bed, private bathroom, air conditioning, and a mini-fridge. You will also have access to our shared kitchen and laundry room.
  
  Our hotel also features amenities like a sauna, hot bath, ice bath, and e-bikes, which may be available for use depending on mutual agreement and after getting to know each other.
  
  We aim to provide a comfortable and welcoming space so you can relax after your work and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Bohinj.
