Description
Looking for someone take care of the animals from March to April and end of August to mid September
The work here is very little and suits someone who either studies or works remote and wishes to take advantage of property/alternatively there are periods of work which is agricultural and occasionally demanding, please message to see the current phase! :)
The dogs, ducks and cat require feeding twice a day and the two dogs require decent walks.
Like most properties in the Italian countryside it's helpful for people to have a good sense of fire lighting etc as the stove powers the house if it's cold
There is a whole house available for the stay - workawayers will share a house
The artist residency is currently running but I will have gaps for workaways to stay at the artist house and enjoy that whole place 👌
I'm in the middle of a huge amount of building/organising work and apologies for the late replies at the moment, lots of schedules have been changing depending on events out of my control...!
There is a beautiful house currently available for a workaway to stay in
Italian speakers are greatly appreciated!
Depending on the period and building works Workaway will live in the "artists house" which is separate to my house although next door or be in a spare room in the main house. Good light and views!
The Internet is not strong in the pink house at all and any need for a strong Wi-Fi connection means that the other house must be used.
The stay here is particularly good for anyone with a car but I've never had a problem for anyone without, it simply means that their exploration of the area is curtailed, so much to see here :)
Usually there is space for one workaway, sometimes 2 can be accommodated
-------------------
I'm building a series of art studios in the Sabine Hills one hour North of Rome by car or train. Next year the studios will provide a residency for artists to visit and use in the form of an award where the facilities and time spent will be free for chosen groups and individuals. I have two houses and a series of agricultural buildings to convert.
My main challenge is to convert the agricultural spaces into suitable studios. I have a large plot of land with around 800 olive trees and 40 walnut trees.
This listing is best suited for a vegetarian or vegan individual to stay at the property and help predominantly with translation, dog walks or feeding ducks.
The most important thing is that the dogs will be taken care of while I get on with work or travel for short periods.
At other times, I will change the listing accordingly, there will be building and carpentry work. All animals are very friendly, Vincent is a sensitive but energetic young dog, Jaco still a puppy and Bella is my cat. There four ducks - Frank, Sienna, Ninetto and Vita 😊Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

My property is situated just above the town of Torri in Sabina, it's incredibly beautiful.
10 minutes drive in one direction takes you to the small hill town of Vacone which takes it's name from Vacuna the Sabine goddess of leisure after work and where the word vacation comes from. There lay the ruins of one of Horace's villas and an ancient woodland. 10 minutes in another direction takes you to either Cantaloupo or Casperia, beautiful hilltop towns and near the ruins of one of Cicero's family homes. We are very close to Rocchette where there is a castle and waterfall to explore and also near Vescovio which is fantastic for good food and wine at a very reasonable cost. In fact, almost everywhere in the Sabina is very cheap for delicious food and drink.
Each year many people gather at Casperia or Montasola to watch the NYE fireworks.
The people here are very friendly and there is so much to explore, whether in the Sabina or on a visit to Rome. The main benefits of staying here are of a quiet and beautiful location with close proximity to sights of nature and history. My neighbour is a truffle hunter and each day brings back a selection of truffle and mushrooms dependent on the season, these can be purchased at a low cost, and it's certainly worth doing so!
Should you want to experience the baroque splendour of Rome or do nothing more than drink wine in the hills, this location is a delight.Aide
Simply taking cre of the animals needs, walks feeding and of course plenty of cuddles

There is a nice sunrise facing double room with balcony in the house available for a workaway individual. Like most of the houses in this region, the heating is wood stove but very efficient with the new stove and flues installed.
* airy design, fantastic views/location, a good plot of land and a great roof terrace for popping off corks should you wish!Autres infos...
My land is linked to other plots and makes a nice walk. This area is really amazing for trekking or hiking and the views are to die for. There are far too many historical site nearby to list but if you wish to go a little further - 40 minutes drive will take you to Cascata delle Marmore while a cheap train journey of an hour will take you into Rome itself. To take the train you must first arrive at either Gavignano, Stimigliano or Poggio Mirteto, all of which are around a 15 minute drive. It's my recommendation that a car is hired to see all this area has to offer although there are buses from the town to the train stations.
You will find this area, like much of Italy, has delicious food and drink to offer - try a selection of locally made liquors from nearby restaurants and you will be glad you did so.
Vacone and Configni are great places to see the area from a height and driving to Montasola to catch the sunset is worthwhile - there is also a great restaurant there!
Casperia is a popular destination, 10 minutes drive away, where you will find a couple for wine bars, a great view and a friendly reception. Casperia is one place you are most likely to meet foreigners who have been seduced by the Sabina. Americans, Canadians, Dutch and English have exchanged their busy lives abroad for the communal and jovial environment of this beautiful town.Informations complémentaires

You can really have the chance to slow down and enjoy the peace and energy that vibes in the air while cuddling Jaco and Vincent, the lovely, intelligent, well-trained dogs.
