Description
Hi! This is Vitek looking for some workawayer help in September/October and maybe even later on in the autumn.
I am living in a small scale farm in Kloster, a nice village in the middle of the beautiful agricultural landscape of the southern Dalarna. Me and my two children (ages 7 and 12) are a part of the village community consisting of many open minded people doing things together. We do gardening for growing food and are striving for self-sufficiency and sustainability. The animals we have are a cat, beehives and chickens.
We live in traditional old red house from the end of the 18th century. We try to do as much as possible by ourselves and are striving for an alternative, ecological and sustainable lifestyle. We actively develop the community resilience of the village and have an electric car. We enjoy getting to know new people, sharing and cooperation. We can many languages: Swedish, English, Czech and German.
Because of the planned renovation of the attic we gonna need your help especially with carpentry, building and painting. However, there is always some help needed even in the garden and kitchen. ;) -

I have lived and worked abroad and have rich experiences as volunteer. Also, I enjoy speaking many languages.
There are many friendly people in the neighbourhood, so you will also meet other locals every day. 10 km from us is a center for permaculture if you are interested in that (in the village of Stjärnsund). There are many creative people and small companies in the area we live in. There are many activities happening in the area such as dance, singing evenings, courses in permaculture etc. -

We offer you your own room in the garden house and provide food during your stay. Our eating philosophy is the local food as much as possible. We would like that even you can appreciate that and want to try out our local eating culture, regardless meat or other preferences.

During your free time, you can go for walks in the nature. You can hang out with other people or join us on a trip to the local town of Hedemora or Säter. Our closest train station is in Hedemora, 20 minutes away - you can go to Uppsala, Stockhom, Falun. You also might enjoy borrowing a bike and exploring lakes nearby.
