Hi, I’m Sofia and I’m new to Workaway! I was working as a software engineer for about 8 years before deciding to take a break. I’ve spent some time traveling and now I’m looking to give back to the community and just connect with others. My hobbies include pottery and pretty much any type of craft. I enjoy kayaking (and being out on the water) and hiking. I love cats and have a kitty back at home with my parents (most likely getting fed way too many treats).
Really looking forward to any opportunity to connect with great people and help out where I can! -

My work was primarily in web development so I can code and am good with computers.
I’m a quick learner, have a positive attitude, and am very detailed oriented. I’m always up for a challenge, enjoy solving problems, love helping others, and don’t mind getting my hands dirty. -

The prompt mentions boardgames so I’ll mention that I enjoy playing boardgames from something quick and simple to hour long games! I recently have also gotten into building miniatures. So far, just those little mini house kits. Really tests your patience haha!
