  Description

  We are a Social Cooperative, founded in 2014 whose statutory purpose is to be a place of welcome and educational training by promoting social circus activities with particular attention to young people in difficulty: welcoming and caring for disadvantaged minors, fight against educational poverty, the fight against early school leaving and juvenile delinquency. The project is a container of artistic and theatrical activities dedicated to children and their families. During the year it provides a series of free social circus workshops with the aim of creating paths of social and cultural integration through the universal and free language of the new circus. We strongly believe in an experimental methodology, the result of research and innovation of the , proposing and creating playful-pedagogical paths aimed at children, teenagers and families.
  
  Siamo una Cooperativa Sociale, che ha come finalità statutaria quella di essere un luogo di accoglienza e di formazione educativa promuovendo attività di circo sociale in una tenda da circo con una particolare attenzione ai giovani in difficoltà: l'accoglienza e la cura dei minori svantaggiati, la lotta alla povertà educativa, la lotta alla dispersione scolastica e la devianza minorile. Il progetto è un contenitore di attività artistiche e teatrali dedicate ai bambini e alle loro famiglie ma anche al loro territorio. Durante l'anno prevede una serie di laboratori gratuiti di circo sociale con l'obiettivo di realizzare percorsi di integrazione sociale e culturale attraverso il linguaggio universale e libero del nuovo circo. Crediamo fortemente in una metodologia sperimentale, frutto di ricerca e innovazione della "Circo-Motricità, proponendo e realizzando percorsi ludico-pedagocici rivolti a bambini, ragazzi e famiglie.

  Our organization welcomes only and exclusively volunteers with knowledge of skills in the field of social circus. (juggling, balancing, clowning, acrobatics, aerial dance)
  Volunteering means making your time available to learn and grow, not only for the passion of social circus, but also contributing to carrying out the tasks and objectives that we set ourselves to achieve. Our circus tent is located in a network project with another social cooperative and with other local entities that jointly contribute to each other's development.
  
  Volunteering with us, whether it is an experience or a lifestyle choice, means living in a community circus and for the community.

  La nostra organizzazione accoglie solo ed esclusivamente volontari con conoscenza di competenze in ambito di circo sociale.(giocoleria, equlibrismo, clownerie, acrobtica, danza aerea)
  Proporsi come volontario significa mettere il proprio tempo a disposizione imparando e crescendo, non solo per passione del circo sociale, ma anche contribuendo a svolgere le mansioni e gli obiettivi che ci prefiggiamo di raggiungere. La nostra tenda da circo è collocata in un progetto di rete con un altra cooperativa sociale e con altre realtà del territorio che congiuntamente contribuiscono allo sviluppo l’una dell’altra.
  
  Fare volontariato da noi, che sia un’esperienza o una scelta di vita, significa vivere in un circo di comunità e per la comunità.

  Aide

  The first activity of the volunteers will be the support and collaboration with the team of social circus operators. They will therefore be an integral part of the maintenance of the circus tent and of the pertinent spaces: internal and external cleaning of the circus tent, movement of circus tools and their installation, assistance and assembly of equipment during artistic residencies with artists, use of mechanical tools for realization of tools and sets, costume and carpentry, assistance and management of social circus workshops with disadvantaged young people, if the worker is an artist it will be possible to train and use the equipped circus space at set times.

  La nostra organizzazione accoglie solo ed esclusivamente volontari con conoscenza di competenze in ambito di circo sociale.(giocoleria, equlibrismo, clownerie, acrobtica, danza aerea).
  La prima attività dei volontari sarà il supporto e la collaborazione con il team di operatori del circo sociale. Saranno quindi parte integrante alla manutenzione della tenda da circo e degli spazi di pertinenza: pulizia interna ed esterna della tenda da circo, spostamenti attrezzi circo e loro installazione, assistenza e montaggio attrezzature in occasione di residenze artistiche con artisti, utilizzo di strumenti meccanici per la realizzazione di attrezzi e scenografie, costumeria e falegnameria, assistenza e conduzione di laboratori di circo sociale con giovani svantaggiati, se il lavoratore è un artista sarà possibile allenarsi ed usufruire dello spazio attrezzato di circo nelle ore prestabilite.

  Hébergement

  The circus tent is located within a naturalistic site, immersed in 4 hectares of olive groves in Brindisi (Puglia). We have an apartment house for workaway volunteers with 4 rooms and 8 beds. We also have 2 apartments where the community is staying.
