  Description

  Hi My name is Gyanendra (Gyan). I'm 26 years old and from the land of maharaja suheldev Babaganj, Its a remote location in the district of Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh, India connected with Nepal. I have my background in tech, hospitality and design and after completing my hospitality college this year. I was planning to travel abroad to sharpen my bakery skills further until I reached back my home town for a really short trip and started coaching kids at our family school. So last year in august I started teaching kids at our school teaching them basic computer skills and extra curricular activities like organizing an event or preparing a meal.
  
  The results since has been quite promising since then and we actually reached at a conclusion that if we train our kids in the right way and expose them to learning by doing we can pretty much shape the kids at our place in much better way. And thats how we started our organization. The goal of this organization is to develop better educational frameworks and a better and sustainable model of rural part of India which can be replicated to other parts of the globe as well. which is the reason we are seeking for people from multiple background to join us and help us develop a better education frame work.
  
  As for my team. I'm working on this project along with my siblings and family through my own savings and we hire contract workers as needed and tbh we barely need to hire anyone at this stage. since most of the work includes managing the space preparing food helping kids and roaming around. For my siblings and family I cover their expenses through school and personal savings and same goes for volunteers.
  
  As for my family. My close family has 5 people. My mom, dad, brother his wife and me. My parents live in separate house just beside my workplace building. My siblings stay in Delhi while I stay along with my volunteers and kids in a two story building. Even though the place is not made keeping luxury yet its safe and has all the amenities required to comfort you enough to feel home.

  We are living in a place with lots of untapped potential and opportunities. Kids here wants to learn people here wants to meet new people and tourism is growing like never before. Meeting new people discovering near by places and best of all interacting with best form of humans which is kids. Just by being around them has various benefits which even science acknowledges.

  Aide

  We are running a foundation and a school and our goal is to teach kids better while exposing them to outside world. The best way to do this for us as of now is start a education tourism. We are building a completely new framework of education for our kids at the intersection of technology and AI that most of our curriculum involves learning by doing. So all we are expecting from our volunteers to live the way they are and contribute where they feel like. No forced decisions or fixed schedule. All of our volunteers are entitled with the flexibility to contribute up to 3hrs a day where one of the hour goes in their learning and the other one in building something while collaborating and teaching kids and other volunteers and last one hour is helping in managing our day to day activities like content, food, cleaning. Contribute where you do your best.

  I have always been fond of learning languages as they help us communicate to more and more people. The primary language at our place is Awadhi, a variation of Hindi. while majority of people including kids understand Hindi. Some of my kids along with team members including me speak and communicate in decent English. Rest assured we are always eager to learn more about your language and will definetly help you learn ours.

  Hébergement

  We have a two story building with 6 separate rooms, 2 big halls and roof top. 1 of the rooms has AC installed for our indoor hydroponics setup. The ac room is being shared between members as per mutual understanding. Other than that members are free to use rooftop for camping with a clear view of space, moon and star which is again beauty for nature lovers. Can plan outing at nearby farms or simply request a private room depending upon availability. Toilets are Indian style with fresh water facility available 24*7 through electricity and hand pumps. We also have basic gym equipment's and we prepare north Indian vegetarian meals twice a day. As this is a rural part of India. Electricity supply can be a shortage sometimes due to climate conditions and demand. But we have power backup for the same for essential things. Rest assured we have pretty much got everything to make you feel home.

  Step 1: Reach Lucknow (LKO) via flight or train.
  Step 2: Take a UPSRTC bus towards Rupaidiha (Bookable via MakeMyTrip or UPSRTC portal).
  Step 3 (Pick-up): Once you reach Rupaidiha or Bahraich , don't worry about the last mile. Local transport is easily available to reach our site in Veerpur Babaganj or will simply pick you up.

  We have pretty decent internet connectivity through air fibre. Which allows us to stream our content on social platforms and help us build and manage our tech infrastructure. So Connectivity is mostly up here in extreme cases due to summers electricity can cause a little disturbance. But that too is quite occasional incident.

  We have pretty much open space. So parking is not an issue over here.

  As of now we don't have any pets on site neither we have any experience in this domain. However if someone is coming with their pets we would request them to please take care of their pets and make sure its not creating safety concerns for the space and people
