Description
I have 17.5 acres in the hills, 40 mins from the central city of Perth, the capital of Western Australia, it is on the edge of the State Forest. This is my home but I built two luxury guest cottages on the property as well as the big house. The property has a full gym, conference room and elipse pool and the property was operated as a luxury retreat for 2.5 years. The property has a cow, two dogs, a cat, fish, chooks and a rooster, all of which are pets in addition to all the wildlife that visits. I am happy to give English lessons. I had my own company but am retired now and widowed, but still full of life. I am a vegetarian (so YOU would need to eat vegetarian), strict non smoker and a bourbon drinker at the end of a hard day!!
I am ideally suited to a male workawayer who has general maintenance/fixing skills. I say male only because they have greater strength in most cases. The sort of work I need help with is the work that is too hard for me on my own. An example of some of the work that might come up is chain sawing a fallen tree, fixing a broken fence, fixing a broken reticulation pipe, burning off, chopping wood for open fires, cleaning up the property from fallen debris.

Aide
In my sixties I have difficulty managing all the maintenance tasks around the property, so would like some help with general maintenance like fixing broken fences, fixing chook (chicken) sheds, gardening, gutters and a bit of repair work around the buildings. As everything is tank water and the gardens are reticulated, some understanding of plumbing is ideal. Its not particularly heavy manual labour more fixing/cleaning/tidying the property and in absolutely idyllic surroundings. Some of it can be real fun like the night burn offs and the big bonfires before summer or a cool off in the infinity pool after a days work.

Luxury Guest Cottage with queen size bed, claw foot bath, digital TV, dvd, bar fridge, lounge area, reverse cycle air conditioning, pot belly stove. Wireless internet access around the property and in the cottages. Cottages are separate to main house for total privacy. Full front verandah with seating. Fire pit in front of cottages for evening fun with a drink and the world's best pizza place (yes it was voted the best in the world twice) just down the road.

This would be a quiet posting as it is not easy to get into the City without your own transport. However, that said if you love nature and love walking, this is the place to be. Western Australia's finest walking track passes close by the property and goes for over 1,000 kms! There are literally dozens of amazing walks all around as I have three state forests right next door. The village is a 10 min drive and has everything one could want - other than night life! So if its a quiet posting you're looking for and you have maintenance skills then this would be ideal
