Description
We are Dear and Jeppe. We live in North Jutland near Hjoerring. We have 2 acres of land, with trees and a big pond with fish. Come to visit the most beautiful part of Denmark, and help us finish the renovation of our house. You will live in a small log-wood cabin, under the green canopy of the trees in a perfect spot for nature lovers. The cabin is 100 % off grid, but WiFi and power outlet is available in a near by camper with camp style kitchen where you can cook you own meals.We have rebuilt our house, using mostly recycled or surplus materials. We offer food and accommodation in exchange for 5 hours work, 5 days per week. The best beaches in Denmark are only a short drive away. There is a small town nearby (6 km.) with shopping and public transport.

Aide
We look for people who can help with restoring an old house. Preferably people with experience in DIY or building projects. Be prepared to work with many different tasks. If you are not used to working with your hands, we are not the right host for you. Common sense and a positive attitude is the most important for us.

Is our very first time away from home and we could not have come to a better place, thank you very much for what you taught, for the good times and for making our arrival in Denmark a very good experience, we will certainly miss you very much

I spent a week at Jeppe and Dear’s, we built a compost toilet and spent time working on a Viking house they were building for workawayers. We got to see the local surroundings and visited a Viking village. Jeppe was patient and taught me lots of new skills and Dear was very kind and cooked really good food.

My stay with Jeppe and Dear was quite a nice experience, as well as a opportunity to learn some carpeting tricks and getting knowledge about what to be particular about and what not, when on a construction site.
