Description
My name is Gino (67) I live in a farmhouse just outside Reggio Emilia in Italy (approximately 5 km from the city centre). The accommodation is lovely and rustic and there is plenty of garden space for you to roam freely.
I do not have cats or dogs but just 5 friendly chickens.
Ideal opportunity for a person who would like to improve both Italian and/or English.
The farmhouse has good access into the City of Reggio Emilia with a bus stop located just a 3 minute walk from the house. The workawayer would only be expected to help for a few hours per day (5 days per week) and in return would receive free accommodation and meals.

The Workawayer will experience rural lifestyle, eating and drinking local cuisine and take the opportunity of using the accommodation as safe base for trips around Italy. Position suitable for a mature person for best exchange experience.

The farmhouse is quite large so need some help inside and outside in the garden. The old wood stove needs feeding wood as can be used for cooking.

I can provide a bike but the bus stop is also just at walking distance from the farmhouse to get to Reggio Emilia and eventually get on the train to visit other parts of Italy. The farmhouse is located around 2.5 hours train journey from Venice, Cinqueterre & Florence but there are also some very beautiful places closer like Bologna & Modena.
