Description
My friend and I have created a new hostel in Weligama for travellers, surfers, artists and guests who would like to meet new friends in a safe, fun and friendly environment. We have 2 rooms with bunk beds and 6 private rooms. We also have a rooftop chill out area and a cafe downstairs in our garden. We are passionate about surf, nature, travel and Sri Lanka. We would need help in almost every area. So you are very welcome if you can help with administration, organizing the booking pages, answering emails, etc. If you are a yoga teacher or artist/painter we are very happy to host you as well. Also help would be needed with organizing the rooms and the property, maybe some housekeeping and in the kitchen.
We would love to offer you a very friendly and open minded environment. Since this place is run by locals, we might have some insider tips for your travel plans and also if you are interested can help you experience authentic sri lankan culture. Also I am a surfing instructor and Welligama Bay is the perfect spot for beginners, so if you like to learn or improve surfing, I am happy to help.

In exchange for your help, we will offer you accommodation, breakfast, dinner and occasional surf lessons. We are looking for someone who can work 4 hours a day 5 days a week, you can choose which days you would like take off .
As a workawayer you are welcomed at a family run business and are invited to join events and so. Our goal is to make everyone feel at home. When working here you are encouraged to take responsibility while organizing bookings and interacting with guests. At the same time we are very happy and thankful to receive help with those tasks.
Aide
We are looking for someone happy, positive and helpful to join us at our brand new hostel/homestay and cafe it's 2 minutes walk from one of the best surf beaches in Sri Lanka.
You will mainly help the stuff to clean and maintain the private and dorm rooms, if you are an artist or you like to create new things you are very welcome to paint our white walls and give a little bit soul in the house.
You will need to be honest, friendly and have a good work ethic.
