… read more confidently say this is one of our favorites. The location is incredible, with lots of accessibility to neighboring towns, the ocean, Lisbon, and events happening around the area, there is always something to do and people to meet. For work we helped build a deck, paint, clean and many other little jobs.There was a great balance of work and play, never feeling overwhelmed or pressured to rush. The accommodation was very comfortable, we had our own apartment with a bathroom attached with a shared kitchen next door. Truly cannot recommend this place enough, we made lifelong friends here and we know that we will come back again one day <3
Ronja and Manu were such a wonderful additional to our coliving house. They became the adoptive parents of our pup, paddington. It's hard to know who loved having them around more -- us or Paddington. They helped us build a new roof for our garage, made our garden look beautiful, and always showed up with a smile. We lived with Carolyn and Nick for a total of 6 weeks and 2 days.🌞 And I deliberately say "lived" because it didn't feel like we were working FOR them, but WITH them.🫶🏻 It felt like sharing a flat with friends. Gustavs was such an incredible part of our team! He took a lot of initiative and we ended up with some really cool things from him. He designed the deck we are building now and restored some old antique furniture, in addition to helping with regular tasks like plastering, painting, etc...
