Description
Hello, I'm Fehmi. My close friends call me Fehoo :)
I took a break from my 7-year career and returned to my family's farm 2 years ago, leaving the city behind. After coming back, we’ve increased our work and production. I love being with nature and animals, producing things, and witnessing the process of growing a seed.
I’m currently working online while continuing my work here as well.
I have 3 sisters, and they are all married. Since they live nearby, we continue to see each other often. I also have 4 nephews (they never run out of energy! I'm their uncle). I live with my mom and dad now. My mom is a very strong and determined woman, and I feel very lucky to have her. My dad is laid-back and doesn't like to tire himself out much.
We have a large garden, around 80 sheep, 50 chickens, 5 cats, and a dog. We grow all kinds of vegetables in our garden (peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, watermelons, beans, peas, etc.). We sell the products we grow at local markets in our area. We also have people who come directly from the garden to pick up the products (some of our customers love picking vegetables from the garden and touching them).Currently, we are working on our farm together with my mother and father. During the summer months, if needed, we hire daily workers for vegetable planting and harvesting.
We have a house in the village center, but during the summer, we spend more time in a small garden house on the land where our garden and animals are (don't worry, your accommodation will be in the house in the village center). The land where our garden and animals are located is about 1 kilometer from the house in the village center. The land is situated on a hill, so it has a magnificent view of nature.
We spend most of our days here, especially in the hot summer months, and we love resting under the shade of an oak tree :)
Our place is a great spot, close yet far from the city, perfect for listening and relaxing. It can be a little lively sometimes, though. In the summer, there are weddings in the square, and maybe we can dance together :)
I’m looking forward to meeting you. Please don’t hesitate to write!Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

I am located within a one-hour drive from Istanbul city center. My home is in a rural area but close to the city. You can either enjoy the beauty of nature or experience the vibrant and lively city life of Istanbul. (I will support you in every way.)
After working in the corporate world for about 7 years, I decided to take a break from my career and return to my family to help them with farming. I can share my experiences in farming, small livestock care, and poultry raising with you. I am sure you also have amazing experiences to share and teach me.
I will ensure you experience the famous Turkish hospitality to the fullest. While you are with me and my family, you will enjoy delicious Turkish meals, observe our culture, and get to know our family and relationships closely. I am excited to learn about your culture, and I am sure you will share fascinating aspects of it with me.Projets impliquant des enfants

I need help with gardening and simple home projects.
I need help with vegetable planting, maintenance, and harvesting. Sometimes we also have small repair or simple DIY tasks—if you have experience in this area, it would be great! If not, don’t worry, I will teach you what I know. Additionally, we need assistance with the care of our chickens: feeding and watering them, cleaning and disinfecting the coop, and collecting the eggs daily.Langues

I want to improve my English language skills. I am at a very basic level. Besides our daily conversations, I would be very happy if you could help teach me English as well.Hébergement
We have a detached house, and there is a small room next to the house that is ready for you. The room is equipped with everything you might need. It has a kitchen counter, a refrigerator, a stove, and all the necessary utensils if you wish to cook. However, the room does not have a bathroom or toilet; you will be able to use the ones in the main house.
I will provide all your meals. If you want to grab a snack during the day, you will always find something in the kitchen. I enjoy trying new flavors, and if you'd like to prepare dishes or desserts from your culture, I would be happy to assist you!Autres infos...
I currently work online and also take care of the garden and animals. I generally live a calm and peaceful life here, but I am a cheerful and fun person. I enjoy making the most out of life.
You can take two days off per week on the days you prefer. The rest of your free time outside of work will be yours. However, there may be some days when we need extra help, and I will let you know in advance about those days.
On your days off, you can enjoy the natural beauty of our area, go for a walk, or, if it's summer, visit the nearby beaches.
Public transportation from our area to the city center is available every hour from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. (If I am available and you’d like, I can accompany you on your days off as a guide. We can visit nearby places by car or go to the city center. For city trips, I usually drive to a certain point and then use public transportation due to heavy traffic in Istanbul.)
By the way, don’t worry about transportation. I will pick you up from the airport when you arrive and drop you off when you leave. (You should use Istanbul Airport, as it’s much closer to me.)
As spring arrives, our workload increases. We have a large garden, sheep, and chickens to take care of.
In our garden, we plant various vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, watermelons, beans, lettuce, parsley, dill, arugula, onions, garlic, broad beans, and peas.
Two or three days a week, we go to local markets to sell the produce we harvest. (You’re welcome to join us if you like!)
April-May: These months are spent preparing the garden for planting, sowing seeds, and planting seedlings.
June-July-August: These are our harvest months.
Cleanliness and hygiene are very important to us. We always try to keep shared spaces clean and tidy, and I kindly ask you to pay attention to this as well.Informations complémentaires
