We have a hostel in Granada, Nicaragua. We are looking for nice and sociable travelers who want to explore this beautiful country while volunteering at the hostel

If you don't speak any spanish, this is a perfect place to start learning since we have some spanish-speaking staff! Granada is also known for having really good spanish schools.
Aide
The tasks is mainly working in the reception of the hostel, helping the guests and making them feel like home, also keeping the place very clean.
It's pretty simple - doing check-ins, check-outs, answering questions and helping organizing if we have any activities in the evening.
The job is not very hard and you will have plenty of time to hang out with the guests and the other volunteers.

Hébergement
Volunteers get a free bed in a dorm, free delicious breakfast, free pasta dinner on Monday and Wednesday and discounts on drinks and tours.

The work is 25 hours a week and we will give 2 days off which you can use to explore the country. If you work doubleshift one day you can also get 3 days off in a row. We are very flexible with the schedule.

What an experience! We stayed 3 weeks at this Hostel and we had a lot of fun with the staff and the owner! Denisse is an amazing human being and we loved the good energy of team.
The hostel is a good place to chill between two shifts or crazy hot days.

Although I didn’t stay there long it was a great experience. The hostel and the work is pretty chill and they have great breakfast! Mar the manager is super nice but of course also tells you what to do better, which I think is normal for working in a hostel. The other volunteers were also nice and all in all I felt really welcome there.

Aurelie and Jonathan are really were really good volunteers, always on time and one step ahead of what I needed get done, they are also very fun to be with, and always willing to help even when it wasn’t their shift.

A better volunteer can't be found! He is superkind, responsible, organized, helpfull and has every other good quality you can imagine. Lisa is an exceptional volunteer, you literally have to explain only once what to do and never again go after her so she does stuff, she is very responsible and smily.

Lea is an oustanding worker. Shes really into costumer service, she always makes sure the guests are happy confortable. Shes very charming and that brings a lot of life to her work.
