We have a beautiful eco house in the forested mountains 45 mins from Athens.
Our aim is to live sustainably and inspire visitors who may stay a few days or weeks or just attend seminars showcasing the challenges and opportunities of alternative living.
We are off grid relying on the sun to power our low impact lifestyle.
We develop new technologies and as far as possible grow our own food.

Workawayers will learn about living sustainably using a variety of techniques ranging from solar PV panels that power the house and charge electric cars to solar thermal panels which provide hot water for washing and heating. There are a number of innovative thermal heat storage systems and energy generating devices. Kitchen waste is composted and fed to chickens. Bath and toilet waste (toilets are conventional sit down type with water flushing) is composted too for use in the vegetable garden. High yield techniques including aquaponic vegetable gardening is being experimented with. We encourage debate and exchange of views regarding sustainability. We are very much a multi cultural and share opinions, insights and ideas.

Accommodation ranges from double bedrooms with ensuite facilities to single bedrooms to dormitory style within the main house. Kitchen and living areas are communal. We as far as possible eat together. Breakfast will be based upon muesli and fruit. Lunch and supper will be based upon local in-season vegetables. We are a sustainability organisation but note that sustainability isn't necessarily always synonymous with veganism however in reality we are mostly vegetarian but we can also cater for non veg guests.
