【Looking for someone who loves to play with energetic kids! Feel at home with us in Sapporo!】
We are currently looking for someone who can stay for more than two months starting from the following dates:

    1. From September 30
    2. From October 15th to January 10th

We are mainly looking for female volunteers for these positions.
If you’re interested, please feel free to contact us!

    About Our Family

We are a Japanese family of five living in Sapporo. Our house is located about 30 minutes away from Sapporo’s main tourist attraction, Odori Park, by bus and subway.
Our family consists of my husband, myself, our 5-year-old daughter, and our 2-year-old twin daughters. On weekdays, both my husband and I work while our children attend daycare. On weekends, we love staying active—going to swimming lessons, playing at parks, attending local festivals, and going on family drives.

★ Most Importantly: We want someone who truly loves playing with kids!
Our children absolutely adore anyone who can play with them and give them lots of attention!
That’s why our top priority is finding a cheerful, friendly, and high-energy person who can genuinely enjoy spending time with our girls and make them smile. We want someone who can turn everyday life into a fun adventure—whether we are eating meals together, playing with toys at home, running around at the park, or going shopping.
(Along with playing with the kids, we would be very grateful if you could help out with light household chores and daily childcare support.)
    Language & Communication
I can understand basic English words and phrases, and I use English to give instructions at work. However, my husband does not speak English at all.
On the other hand, our children understand English well and can speak simple phrases. We hope that by interacting with people from different countries, our children can naturally absorb English like a native language and broaden their horizons.

Discover the Seasonal Charms of Sapporo

Sapporo is a beautiful city with unique charms in every season:
    • Winter (December to March): Offers breathtaking snowy landscapes unique to Hokkaido, making it perfect for winter sports like skiing and snowboarding. The world-famous Sapporo Snow Festival in February is a must-see, featuring massive snow and ice sculptures at Odori Park and Susukino.
    • Spring to Early Summer (March to May): As the snow melts, nature comes alive with beautiful cherry blossoms and plum trees in full bloom. It’s an ideal time for sightseeing and enjoying nature at Maruyama Park or Moerenuma Park.
    • Summer (June to August): A vibrant, green season. The weather is relatively cool and comfortable, making Sapporo the perfect escape from the intense summer heat of other regions. You can enjoy outdoor beer gardens and food festivals at the Sapporo Summer Festival in Odori Park, or go hiking and river rafting around Hoheikyo Onsen and Jozankei. Don't miss out on Hokkaido's fresh summer vegetables and sweets!
    • Autumn (September to November): Sapporo transforms into a sea of vivid autumn colors. You can enjoy the stunning foliage at Nakajima Park and Maruyama Park right in the city, or take a short trip to Shiroyama Gorge and Takino Suzuran Hillside Park for unforgettable views. It’s also the ultimate season to savor fresh local seafood and autumn harvests.
If you want to experience authentic Japanese culture, explore the beautiful city of Sapporo, and—most importantly—create unforgettable memories with our lovely children, we would absolutely love to welcome you as part of our family!
We are all looking forward to meeting you!

We speak Japanese at home, so this is a great opportunity for those who are learning Japanese. Additionally, we provide Japanese cuisine for dinner every evening.

In winter, my husband loves skiing, so if you’d like to ski, we can take you along. In the summer, we always participate in the local festivals. I can also dress you in a yukata, so you can enjoy the festival in traditional attire.

Our children are still very young, so they learn simple Japanese words every day. This is also a very convenient environment for those who are studying Japanese.

🧸 Welcome to our lively family! / Experience Japanese family life with us
We are a happy, energetic family with three sweet children: a daughter (Miku, who is turning 5 very soon!) and 2-year-old twins! We love meeting new people and are looking for a mature, cheerful, and proactive Workawayer to join our team.
Since we host around 3 Workawayers in total, you will share the daily rhythm together as a team! If you love kids, naturally enjoy keeping a tidy environment, and want to experience true Japanese daily life, we would love to welcome you!
🕒 Our Daily Rhythm Together (Approx. 25 hours/week)
We follow a structured, smooth routine to keep our little ones happy. Our 3 Workawayers will take turns and share these hours, so you will always have a well-balanced and reasonable schedule! A parent is also usually nearby to work as a team.
Morning Boost (7:00–9:30): Let’s get the day started! You’ll help us get the kids ready, assist with breakfast, and prep them for daycare/kindergarten.
Mid-day Pickup (14:00): A quick and important mission! Help us pick up our eldest daughter, Miku, from her school bus.
Evening Fun & Wind-down (16:30–20:30): Time to reconnect! We’d love your help playing with the kids, chatting in English, assisting with dinner time, and doing a quick tidy-up so everyone can relax.
🧺 Helping Hands in Our Home
As a part of our household, your daily contributions will keep our home harmonious:
Fun & Language: Engaging the children in playful activities and natural English conversation.
Light Chores: Keeping the living areas tidy, helping with dishwashing, vacuuming, and laundry.
Saturday Splash! 🏊‍♂️: If you can swim, we’d love for you to join our weekend family routine! Help us hold one of the twins during their swimming lesson (we’ll provide a training swimsuit). It’s always a lot of fun!
🌟 What We Offer & Cultural Exchange
We want this to be an unforgettable experience for you too!
Language Exchange: We speak Japanese at home and would love to help you practice and improve your Japanese skills.
Weekend Adventures: We love family outings on the weekends! You are always welcome to join us, and we will fully cover your transportation and meals during these trips.
A Warm, Supportive Home: We value mutual respect, open communication, and creating wonderful memories together.
    🛡️ Safety & Growing Together
Because our tiny additions to the family are so young, their safety is our number one priority. To make sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and happy, we appreciate it if you could share a reference from a previous host or your background check. Thank you for helping us create a safe space for our little ones!
If you think you’re a great fit for our family, please send us a message! We can’t wait to meet you! ✨

    Hébergement

You will have your own private bedroom with a bed, shared bathroom and kitchen. We provide three meals a day. For breakfast and lunch please help yourself.
We provide bread, bananas, cereal, pasta, etc. for your workaway. If you are not satisfied with that, please buy your own. We usually all eat dinner together. We will prepare Japanese food, mainly meat and fish. This environment might be difficult if you are a vegetarian.
