  Description

  Hi! My name is Monica, my family and I had bought a house in Calabria, in a little town near a forest and at 20 minute by car from the see.. our dream is to create a space in which children can stay together and enjoy their growth while exploring the nature using their hands... I'm a teacher and we have a daughter of 3 years old, we like to spend time together doing artisanal handcrafts with wood and crochet, listen to music, chill out and sharing with people, eating good and vegetable things from our garden , do laboratories for kids and a lot of other beautiful things to discover.
  
  We can offer a bed in our camper or a place in which could put a tent .. the house in which we are now living was abandoned and full of vegetation, we started to clean the space but there's still a lot of things to do, until now we are fixing up 2 rooms and the bathroom with hot water so you can do a hot shower!
  
  We eat vegetarian, and we can offer lunch and dinner in change of your help to make this project work

  The house is in a little town in the middle of Serre mountains , is a place in which you can enjoy the nature and the peace.
  
  Here the life is slow and you can connect with local people that still lives in this little town. We are part of a cultural association ( Kalabria Eco ) that aims to repopulate this area through slow turism and ecologiacal habits .
  
  We can share our knowledge. My husband is a carpenter and we do yoga, meditation, acroyoga. We love music and we play guitar and piano.
  
  We have a daughter that have 3 years old and we want that she can grow up in nature share and enjoy this with other kids.

  Aide

  Help with gardening for feed us with healthy food as much as possible, small tasks with wood our things for the house and try to do by ourselves as much as we can.
  
  Our knowledge is about carpentry, crochet art, making jewellery with metal, and we would like to share it all while doing tasks together .
  
  We speak Italian, Spanish and English

  Hébergement

  We can offer a place in our caravan or a flat space for tents (camping spots), in any case everybody can use the available bathroom with hot water. Whenever the house will be finished there will be also available beds in the house.
  
  We offer tents, mattress etc. We offer organic food from our garden and what we can't produce ourselves we buy from local farmers who are attentive to ecological issues. We offer 3 meals a day.

  Autres infos...

  It is better to reach the place with a car even though there is a bus available two times per day from Pizzo to Polia. In the free time people can go hiking in the mountain or go to the beach ( 20 minutes by car). They can also enjoy rivers and lakes that are close to the house.
