Requirements as of : January, 2026
Our farm is located 35kms East of Phitsanulok towards the mountainous region of Phetchabun (Khao Kor). It's an area of natural beauty generally overlooked by visitors from overseas. It's remote and quiet so it's suitable for those seeking some time away to relax in the countryside.
The farm includes a 35-acre Rubber Plantation and 10 acres of land which is mostly taken up with native trees, banana, papaya, mango, fig & Mulberry trees.

Long stay volunteers (14 days+) may be rewarded with a trip to a local place of interest if there is the opportunity.

We are interested in volunteers who can handle work in the garden and housework, but must be able to handle working
in the heat.
- plant potting
- weeding in vegetable beds
- raising vegetable beds
- assist with building work
- housework
- making compost
- etc.
Volunteers will be responsible for cooking their own food, but we will provide sufficient daily supplies of meat, rice, and vegetables. Any luxuries, such as dairy products, coffee, etc., will have to be purchased by the volunteer. There is also the option to buy food down at the nearest local market and 7/11, 4 kms away.

River Rafting - One of the best river rafting locations in Thailand just down the hill from the house. (Wet Season only)
National Parks - Plenty of national parks around this area including Phu Hin Rong Khla with mountain peaks around 1700m above sea level. (Transportation required)
Phitsanulok is a pleasant city with plenty of shopping centers and a temple that houses one of the most famous Buddha images in Thailand.

We were lucky that we spent christmas and hogmanay together.

Unfortunately being in Scotland at the moment I wasn't able to meet up with Christophe, but my wife found him to be

Staying in the Farm was great! It was my first Workaway experience and it was really nice to spend a few days with James and all the family. They made me feel like at home and the place is really nice. I would recommend it to anyone who likes outdoor activities and looking for a relaxing place.

I had a fabulous time with James, Jib and their two kids. There are loads of new projects to be done and new things to help out with and your hard work is always rewarded with delicious food!
