  Description

  We Live in the jungle 30 minutes away from downtown and 20-25 minutes away from the beach.
  
  Me (Perla) have an Organic Soap & Skincare project based on Aromatherapy and Herbology, Health & Ecology. Love traveling and food.
  
  My hobbies are Perfumery, Alchemy, Pottery, fermenting/preserving, Woodworking and of course Gardening. I'd like to start tufting and make rugs!!! Been doing Research & Development and Product Design & Formulation for other Cosmetic Labs.
  
  Me (Alex) Im a dentist and profesor at the University, enjoy cooking, music and arts.
  We are working aswell on a conservation environmental & social project.
  
  We were also workawayer voolunteers the years 2016 and 2017 and got to learn, enjoy and the experience what it is to be a volunteers.

  Beautiful Beaches, Mangroves, cenotes, lagoons. lot of warm sunny days most of the year.
  
  We speak Spanish, English and French fluently.
  
  You'll enjoy of sleeping surrounded by jungle and birds. not (so) close neighbors, if you like privacy, solitude, Meditation, Nature youll enjoy it.
  
  And if you need the other social side, All the nithglife, cuilinaire, etc Cancun can offer is there for you.
  
  We have 2 kayaks you could use (if you have a car is better)
  
  We live 3 km from the nearer Public Transport, whuch is the nearer "town" is 3 km away and you could go by bike, basic groceries, vegetables and some prepared food is available.

  Aide

  Looking someone to help with general maintenance and hardwork with a greenhouse setup, clear space in the jungle for beehives, moving logs and rocks.
  
  *We are in need of 1 strong and active Workawayer to work in the jungle. 5 hours of active work and would prefer somebody who rests, write, paints, exercises etc in situ, just being there to take care of the property. Active work MON-FRI
  
  help in building a perimetral rock wall. The rocks can be gathered from the jungle around, Take care of the property. Shape the jungle, gardening and plant propagation.
  
  Help with social media quality content creation, nice pictures and nice catchy reels for conservation ecological project.
  
  Is essential you have done this things and have some experience or at least be very capable, willing and dilligent.
  
  Help required including picking garbage from the streets around, separating recyclables.
  
  May be cooking or cleaning if necessary.
  
  Masonry experience to build a outdoor Bathtub with rocks??? That be awsome. We have a plastic mould for that and the faucet ready.
  
  We need Responsible, Respectful, Clean, Comitted, Proactive, Skilfull, Strong, Trustworthy, Autonomous, Capable, Independent, diligent volunteers.
  
  Minimal stays of 2, weeks as it is time consuming to explain how everything works. Depending on your Skills & Profile we can consider more time. Or less.
  
  Water saving is important.
  
  Dry sunny season is March till May
  June starts to Rain some days
  Mosquito season is July.
  Rainy season is September to January.
  Hurricane season in October.
  "Colder" fresher months are from November till February.

  We offer a medium camping tent with a matress
  
  Basic and fresh food, fruits and veggies, rice, pasta, lentils, tortillas, beans, canned meat and eggs. We have solar panels and can provide a small fridge for you to keep your food.
  
  You will enjoy a beautiful outdoor shower, vermicompost biofilter normal water toilet. All the "Sale de Bain" we ask you to clean and wash thoroughly 1 a week. (No chlorine allowed)
  
  Lot of jungle around so plenty of privacy.
  Our place is near to the city but out of the city. We have a bike available for volunteers but having your own transportation would be a prefered
  
  Please be independent and you are picky with food bring bring your own . We'll provide good basic food once a week and everything else you provide yourself. Thanks!!!

  Autres infos...

  Cancun is a Mega Touristy place so lot of flow and people and interesting activities to do around. Lot of Mayan ruins and the culture is vast. plenty of recommendations once you are here.
  
  We have lots of power tools *Care, attention, experience and common sense is needed to handle tools to avoid accidents or damaging of tools.*
  
  Our location is a bit remote from the city and public transpotation not so closet, so volunteers with their own transpotation are ideal.

  We have a gravel "paved" space where a bus size can park, surrounded by green jungle and beautiful huge trees and palms. Fire pit too.
