Description
At Lugar do Olhar Feliz, Ann (Canadian) and Jean-Paul (French) choose fruits and vegetables for chefs. Our fruit tree (citrus, pomegranates, figs, mulberries etc. etc.) and plant collections are among the most extensive in Southern Europe. If you would like to learn about these plants and how to grow them come work with us.
À Lugar, Olhar Feliz, Ann (Canadienne) et Jean-Paul (Français) choisissent des fruits et légumes pour des chefs étoilé. Notre collection d'arbres fruitier (agrumes, grenades, figues, mûriers, etc.) et notre collection de plantes sont parmi les plus étendus d'Europe du Sud. Si vous souhaitez en savoir plus sur ces plantes et comment les cultiver, venez travailler avec nous. -

We speak English French and Portuguese. Jean-Paul is an expert on rare citrus varieties and how to grow , graft and use them and has lots of original ideas about how to use plants. We live in a garden and grow most of what we eat.

Aide
We would like some help around the garden; weeding watering , planting, grafting, pruning etc. Its a big garden/orchard. We tend to work during the cool hours of the day.

Hébergement
You will have a private room and bath. Its a big house with lots of space.
You can cook and eat with us. JP is a great cook, we eat what we grow basically. And we grow lots. -

We are 4km from the nearest village, Cercal do Alentejo and 20km from the sea, there is also a swimming pool. We have bikes available. Or someone can drop you off in town when they go.
