Description
My small farm lies in the "puszta", in the southeast of Hungary. Two dogs, five cats, eight brahma chicken, three peahens and a peacock live here with me and run around freely on the farm. Apart from cows there are no neighbours, so it is quiet and cozy here. The next small village is about 2 km away, the next small town about 10 km.
I grow organic vegetables in my permaculture garden and walipini (greenhouse half buried in the ground) and some fruit. The photovoltaic system provides me with electricity. In the spring I plan to dig a 240 m² swimming pond and will keep its water clean by putting in enough waterplants, so without using any pumps.Would you enjoy participating in that project?
I organize seminars about healthy nutrition and how to go about fasting. Using the biological healing knowledge based on Dr Hamer I treat conflicts and traumas.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

I am a nutritionist and practice intermittent fasting. Therefore I can help you to improve your eating habits, but cannot provide you with three conventional meals a day. You are welcome however to join me in a salad in the afternoon or some vegan dish now and then for dinner. Otherwise you will have to prepare your own food. Ingredients are available, a lot of them homegrown and organic.
If you are interested, I can show you which wild herbs you can eat and how to prepare and use them as natural medicine. If you are from the health sector as well we could offer joint seminars to the German or English speaking community here.Aide
I am looking for somebody (or a couple) reliable, positive, curious and honest, who will help me in the garden and greenhouse and has some experience with that. The houses are mainly heated by wooden stoves, so you should be able to saw, chop, stack and carry wood. There are always small repairs and maintenance tasks to do so being skilful with your hands would help.
We will plan the swimming pond, mark it and help the excavator with the manual, fine shaping of the pond and the hill next to it. Then we will help the workers laying the foil in the pond and the carpenter building a pavillon on the hill and a dock for the pond. 600 water plants will be put in and fixed with gravel. The foil showing on the side must be covered in cement and gravel so that the sun won't get to it. In the end we will lay a path around the lake and plant some bushes. I am sure that there will be enough leisure to go for a swim as soon as the water is in - and warm enough ;-)Langues

You will stay in my cozy guesthouse with sleeping room, living room with kitchen and bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped except for an oven. The guesthouse is heated by a wood stove. Food and accommodation are free. The nearest, small supermarket you will find in the village (2 km). Bigger supermarkets and a weekly market you can reach within 10 minutes by car or by bus. You will have you own terrace, from where you can enjoy the sunset. You can also use the open outside kitchen, the fire place for barbecues and the workshop. A driving licence and car would be practical, but not essential.

In you free time you might want to enjoy the thermal bath (Jonathermál Kiskunmajsa) which you can reach by car within 10 minutes or bus (old fashioned bycicle to the bus station is available). Within half an hours drive you can reach Szeged, the third biggest city in Hungary which is worth more than just one visit. 1,5 hours will take you to Budapest, the beautiful capital. The bus and train stations you will find about 2 km away in the next village. The puszta has always been a paradise for horse riders, because there are no restrictions and lots of sand paths. As the Hungarians love horses there are still a lot of coaches in use, which will be driven at every possible occasion like a village festival or an event in Bugac, the horse center here in the South-East. There you can take riding lessons as well. It will take you only 15 minutes to get there.
There are quite a lot of regular markets, where you can either buy food, handicraft, oldtimers and motorbikes or animals - depending on the kind of market and place. Often you will find people there in traditional costumes, which are a real sight.Informations complémentaires

My guesthouse is connected to the router by LAN. The connection is good most of the time, so you are very welcome to work on your computer or laptop. You just might need an adapter from your device to the LAN plug. Therefore I avoid using mobile data connections and don't offer WIFI.
Possibilité d'accueillir les animaux
I have a non-neutered medium-sized male dog and a female dog. Your dog should not be an alpha type so they get along with each other and can play together. However, I would ask for a deposit for possible damage to carpets, sofas and cushions. My tomcats are neutered, so another cat should be no problem.
