Description
I live in a rural area, close to two middle-sized cities (about 20.000 inhabitants each). The closest bigger cities are Marburg and Kassel, and both can be reached by public Transportation.

Beyond the practical help with the horses and garden, what matters most to me is the cultural exchange. Hosting is a way for me to meet people from different countries, learn about their traditions, and share my own. We’ll spend time together over meals, during walks, or while caring for the animals, so there’s plenty of space for conversations and mutual learning.
I’m especially hoping to improve my spoken French, so chatting together in French would be wonderful — but I’m equally curious about other languages and cultures. In return, I can introduce you to daily life in Germany, local traditions, and of course the special bond that comes with working with horses.
Cultural exchange also includes getting to know locally played card and board games, exploring the surrounding towns (Frankenberg and Korbach) together with the host and learning their history, and getting to know the local cuisine.
Aide
I would like to find a helper for our three horses, as well as for gardening (although this probably doesn’t take as much time as helping with the horses).
It would be great if you had any previous experience with horses.
This is strictly in an aid function. You are free to choose your level of engagement – normally, I take care of my garden and my animals by myself, my goal is to meet people from other countries, and ideally share my hobby with you.
The amount of help I’m asking for is limited to maybe 2–3 hours a day, and of course weekends are free for you to rest, explore the local area, and meet people.

Hébergement
I share a house with my sister. There are several unused rooms, which may be available. I'm frequently visited by my family, so some rooms need to stay free during your stay, but there's always at least one free room for you :-)

Imo is just wonderful, and her sisters too. I enjoyed too much living with them for the month of July, in their sunny, clean and welcoming house, with the cats and Asterix.
