  We are a 4 generation family that needs help with yard and house maintenance from time to time.
  
  SHORT NOTICE inquiries rather than long range planning works best for us as the help required and accommodation changes too rapidly to make arrangements months ahead.
  
  We live on the ocean in a lovely small town on the Sunshine Coast of B.C., just 2.5 hours from Vancouver Int'l Airport. It is accessed by ferry or seaplane, and would be considered a remote destination. Sechelt (a bigger town) is a 30 minute drive, and the entire coast is ~150 kilometres from one end (Langdale) to the other (Earls Cove).
  
  We eat good food, health and wellness is a priority. PROJECT is located at a 1.3 acre property (partial lake view) in downtown Madeira Park near amenities and highway exit. The work is light and hours flexible so there’s lots of time for exploring the area.
  
  Accommodations in a clean, private, vintage travel trailer. Suits single or couples with or without a vehicle. Bringing your own Motorhome is ok. Excellent WiFi. Pet(s) only with prior approval please. We currently have no pets.

  Madeira Park, Pender Harbour is central to hiking trails, fishing adventures, sightseeing, culinary and cultural experiences in our scenic, protected harbour. There are 11 lakes in the area and over 5000 years of First Nation history. We are a family of longtime residents in the community. Our business has been commercial fishing for 4 generations with the 5th soon learning the ropes.

  Aide

  Helping maintain the yard & garden are priority chores we need help with year round. For late Summer and early Fall this year, the projects will be harvesting apples, pears and walnuts, preparing the harvest into various states, raking fallen fruit & leaves, clipping back any blackberry vines that survived the blitz in July, and bush cutting to clear the lake view as time permits. Repainting a mural on a retaining wall may occur. It’s good to have a vehicle but not necessary. We have 11 lakes, ocean beaches, water sports and sport fishing as top recreational activities here. The scenery is spectacular, we occasionally see whales, seals and porpoises from the shore. Thank you for considering us!

  Stay in a vintage 14’ travel trailer on a serviced RV site. Trailer is spotlessly clean, cozy and comfortable with new seat cushions, tv, heat, fan, ice maker, fridge and potable water. It is set up for 1-2 people with a 3/4 size bed (and table can be dropped for second bed, if needed). Main bed mattress is 6” luxury foam and very comfortable. Table mattress is the 4”seat cushions with 2” gel topper (it’s red/white and stored above the table with the sheets and two sleeping bags for use if you don’t have your own. Drop the entire front vs using the small access doors). Smoking outside only. Fast Internet. Off street parking and a private outdoor area with table and Bbq. If you have your own RV it parks beside mine and hookup to the septic tank is obvious. Potable water hose can be disconnected from mine and reconnected to yours, it is a new line from the main house. White hose on fence is questionable so only used for watering the plants. Shower and bath tub are in the fenced, private garden and it is shared by all of us. You pick your time of access or call out in case it’s being used. This feature is absolutely lovely and when run as a BnB, guests always commented that it was their favorite part of the stay. Portapotty is in the parking lot and serviced every second Monday. There are residents in the main house (both are classical musicians in their late 20’s) and I stay in the cabin (retired biologist now working at the Post Office). If I am away, on-site manager Donna will be in the cabin and directing projects as lead. You can reach me by What’s App, cellular won’t work if I am away. It is a large property and we all have our own space but still need to be mindful of each other’s privacy, peace and quiet.   Large yard but have some obstructions in getting it in the driveway. An RV around 26 feet or less is best. Septic, potable water, 30amp serviced RV site with privacy fence.
