Description
Hola!
We are a chilean family of 3 living in the countryside on a 600 hectare plot of land. On our property, we have fruit trees, flower beds, lawns, a kitchen garden and a large enclosure for goats that are around in the winter and spring. We also have chickens, many cool cats and chill dogs. The surrounding area is farmland and small forests, with beautiful valley landscapes. The nearest village, Catemu, is 3 kilometers away and the nearest town, Llay Llay, is 15 kilometers away. Catemu is 100 kms away from Santiago de Chile and 100 kms away from the beach, specifically from Valparaiso and Viña del Mar.
We love learning about other cultures so we hope you will share some of yours with us!
Hospitality and cultural interaction are the essential values for our family so you will be actively involved in our daily life. We are happy to share our knowledge and experiences with you.

We need help with the garden and in the house, repairing our fence, feeding the animals, cleaning and other tasks.
We are also very interested in language exchange, especially to practice some english and/or german.

Your own room in our house with main meals provided. We have wifi and access to a laptop when you need it. Warm water.

The weather is very warm in the summer (from 25 C to 35 C). We offer you a work experience in a natural environment, far away from crowds. In your free time, it is perfect for relaxing, swimming & outdoor activities. Many excursions can be made: Nature reserves, trekking, great walks & horse-trekking, swimming spots, waterfalls, vineyard tours, etc. There is a swimming pool at home and a barbecue. You can either go to the beach, which is 100 kms away from home, 1 hour by bus, or to Santiago de Chile, which is also 100 kms away from home.

Our English teacher! We had such a great time with him, talking, laughing a lot and of course, working hard. He is a great guy, always there for you, 24/7 . He stayed for more than 2 weeks and he helped us a lot everyday.
