We are operate all thought the year ,
hotel and kitesurfing school set on a spacious 2.5-acre property. Our dedicated team of 6 full time time staff and two part time members.
manage everything from the kitchen and restaurant to the garden, pool, and more, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests, whether it’s peak season or off-season

In the beautiful Kalpitiya Lagoon, visitors can learn kitesurfing, try eco-friendly activities, and cook real Sri Lankan food with hands-on lessons. They can also meet local people, help with small nature projects, and go kayaking on the calm water. By mixing adventure with learning about the culture, travelers get to enjoy Sri Lanka’s natural beauty and go home with new skills, new friends, and memories they will never forget.

We have an **urgent vacancy for January & February ** in **social media marketing**.
Applicants **must have some experience**.

### Seasons
Our **kitesurfing seasons** are:
• Mid-December to end of March
• Mid-May to late September (sometimes October)
The off-season is quieter, but volunteers can still help with creative and sustainability projects.

### Volunteer Roles
All volunteers help with eco projects such as beach cleaning and waste reduction.
Your main role depends on your skills.
Available roles include:
• **Digital Marketing & Social Media** – content creation, Reels, captions, storytelling
• **Video Creation** – short videos, editing, visual storytelling
• **Wall Art / Murals** – design and painting around the resort
• **Sustainability Projects** – mangroves, waste sorting, greenhouse building, eco systems
• **Yoga Teacher** – December to March only
• **Landscape Design**
**We do not need help with kitchen work or resort operations.**

### Kitesurfing
Kitesurfing lessons are **not included**.
Long-stay volunteers (4 weeks or more) receive **discounted rates after the first 2 weeks**.

• Previous Workaway experience is an advantage
• Skilled social media creators or videographers get priority

Experience Local Fishing Life
Our resort is next to a traditional fishing village. You can see how local fishermen live and work every day. Depending on the season, you may join a fisherman to catch crab, prawns, or fish using traditional methods.
Nature and Wildlife
Visit Wilpattu National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful wildlife parks. It is about 30 minutes away by boat. You can see wild animals in their natural environment.
Cultural Visits
Visit nearby places of worship such as Buddhist temples, Hindu temples, mosques, and churches. You can also visit local schools, hospitals, village markets, and the historic fort to learn more about local life and culture.
Outdoor Adventures
Explore the area on foot, by kayak, or by bicycle. You can also travel by bus or tuk-tuk to see more of the surrounding region.
Local Activities
Play netball with local people, walk 2 km to the nearest town, or visit the beach using our bicycles. swimming pool, and relax in the calm and peaceful surroundings of the resort.

It was pretty quiet as out of season but the staff are really friendly , a couple of other volunteers that were great too.
