I HAVE THE FOLLOWING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
- Field assistant for fieldwork, forest measurements, establishing field trials, working with farming families, and also on forestry research projects.
- Volunteering at the Morilla Festival, on December 9th in Villa Ortega.
I am primarily looking for volunteers to collaborate in fieldwork. Basically, this involves helping to take measurements in the forest, using very basic GPS equipment for recording some variables, and staying in contact with farming families. Collaborating in forest days (training), among other work-related activities. The work area covers the entire Aysén region.
Volunteering is flexible. Travel and sightseeing opportunities may be provided.

- Ayudante de terreno para trabajos de campo, mediciones de bosque, establecimiento de ensayos de campo, trabajo en conjunto con familias campesinas y también en proyectos de investigación forestal
- Voluntariado en el Festival de la Morilla, para el 9 de diciembre en Villa Ortega
Busco voluntarios para poder colaborar en el trabajo de campo principalmente. Básicamente se trata de poder ayudar a hacer mediciones en el bosque, utilizar equipos GPS que son muy básicos para el registro de algunas variables, y estar en contacto con las familias campesinas, colaborar en la generación de días de bosques (capacitaciones), entre otros del ámbito laboral. La zona de trabajo comprende toda la región de Aysén
El voluntariado es flexible. Se puede brindar la oportunidad para que puedas viajar y recorrer.

or they will be told they can join in the daily activities, but accommodation will not be included.
This should be discussed in advance.
For the Festival, the stay will be camping on farms belonging to the organizing community in the town of Villa Ortega. There's a very good vibe.

IN GENERAL, WE PREFER PEOPLE RELAXED, OF GOOD MOOD, WITH ENCOURAGEMENT TO CONTRIBUTE, THAT IS PATIENT, SOMETIMES NOT ALL THINGS WORK TO PERFECTION AND YOU HAVE TO WAIT SOME DAYS TO LEAVE THE FOREST, THAT UNDERSTAND THAT THE WORK IN AN NGO DOES NOT IT WORKS LIKE A COMPANY OR A PUBLIC SERVICE. WE PREFER OLDER AGES, MEN OR WOMEN, IT IS MORE EASY FOR US THAT CAN EAT MEAT, AND THAT YOU LIKE THE BEER. LOL

EN GENERAL, PREFERIMOS GENTE RELAJADA, DE BUEN HUMOR, CON ANIMO DE CONTRIBUIR, QUE SEA PACIENTE, A VECES NO TODAS LAS COSAS FUNCIONAN A LA PERFECCION Y HAY QUE ESPERAR ALGUNOS DIAS PARA SALIR AL BOSQUE, QUE ENTIENDA QUE EL TRABAJO EN UNA ONG NO FUNCIONA IGUAL QUE UNA EMPRESA O UN SERVICIO PUBLICO. PREFERIMOS MAYORES DE EDAD, HOMBRES O MUJERES, ES MAS FACIL PARA NOSOTROS QUE PUEDAN COMER CARNE, Y QUE LES GUSTE LA CERVEZA. JAJA
