Description
We live in a secluded location, yet very close to a small town. Our old mill is nestled between a forest and a stream. Harry (42) and Fee (42) live here. We value the quality of our food and primarily eat what our garden provides, occasionally adding meat or eggs. Of course, we also buy some things, always prioritizing ethical sourcing and seasonality.
We cook fresh meals daily. We prepare lunch for our guests 2-3 times a week; on the other days, you are welcome to help yourself in the common room.
Our home is situated amidst cycling paths and very close to many attractions in the Northern Black Forest near Freudenstadt.
We work with the seasons and the weather, which means we expect you to help us for 25 hours a week. We will discuss the schedule weekly.
We are self-sufficient and produce for our own consumption.
Important:
Fee is very sensitive to artificial smells, so if you love perfumes, chemical detergents, etc., living together will be difficult. Please bring your own eco-friendly soap or shower gel.
You should be able to spend time alone, as we both work long hours and have busy schedules.
Wir leben abgeschieden und doch sehr nah an einer Kleinstadt. Zwischen Wald und Bach ist unsere alte Mühle. Hier leben Harry (42) und Fee (42). Wir legen Wert auf die Qualität der Lebensmittel und ernähren uns hauptsächlich von dem was uns der Garten schenkt und gelegentlich Fleisch oder Eier. Natürlich kaufen wir auch das ein oder andere dazu, auch hier achten wir auf ethische Vertretbarkeit und Saisonalität.
Wir kochen täglich frisch. Für unsere Gäste kochen wir 2-3mal in der Woche Mittagessen, die anderen Male darfst du dich selbst im Gemeinschaftsraum versorgen.
Unser Zuhause liegt zwischen Radwegen und sehr nah an vielen Ausflugszielen im Nordschwarzwald bei Freudenstadt.
Wir arbeiten mit den Jahreszeiten und dem Wetter was bedeutet wir erwarten das du uns 25 Stunden in der Woche hilfst, wie das verteilt wir sprechen wir wöchentlich ab.
Wichtig:
Fee reagiert sehr sensibel auf unnatürliche Gerüche, falls du also gerne Parfums, chemische Waschmittel etc liebst wird es schwierig mit einem Zusammenleben. Bitte bringe deine eigene ökologische Seife oder Duschgel mit.
Du solltest in der Lage sein mit dir selbst Zeit zu verbringen, da wir beide viel arbeiten und einen engen Wochenplan haben.

We live very close to nature in the rhythm of the seasons and yet we would call ourselves modern. Our way of life is circular.
Wir leben sehr naturnah im Rhythmus der Jahreszeiten und trotzdem würden wir uns modern bezeichnen. Unsere Art zu leben ist Kreislaufwirtschaftlich.
Aide
You can help us around the house (cleaning, etc), in the garden or with small home projects. Please write to us so that we can tell you in which period different projects are planned. We would like you to stay with us for at least 2 weeks so that our coexistence can settle in.
Du kannst uns im Haushalt, im Garten oder bei kleinen Bauprojekten helfen. Bitte schreib uns damit wir dir sagen können in welchem Zeitraum verschiedene Projekte geplant sind. Wir wünschen uns das Du mindestens 2 Wochen bei uns bleibst damit sich unser Zusammenleben einspielen kann.

Hébergement
You live in your own room and have a community room available for breakfast/dinner and yoga, etc. We eat 1-2 meals together as desired.
Du wohnst in deinem eigenem Zimmer und hast einen Communityroom zur Verfügung für Frühstück/Abendessen und Yoga,etc..
Wir essen je nachdem 1-2 Mahlzeiten miteinander.

Pfalzgrafenweiler can be reached in 15 minutes on foot, here you will find a good infrastructure and also some leisure activities.
You can biking and hiking right at our front door.
Harry and Fee both do Crossfit when the time is right. We have a lot of equipment with us (barbell bars, rings, etc.).
Not far away is Freudenstadt with its famous market square, as well as other cities such as Altensteig / Nagold and thus also the Nagold dam where SUP and other water sports are popular.
In Winter there are also Skiareas around.
Public transport is well connected from Pfalzgrafenweiler. The next really good train connection is in Horb.
In 15 min zu Fuß zu erreichen ist Pfalzgrafenweiler, hier findest du eine gute Infrastruktur und auch einige Freizeitmöglichkeiten.
Biken, Wandern kannst du direkt an unserer Haustür.
Harry und Fee machen beide Crossfit wenn die Zeit passt. Wir haben einiges an Equipment bei uns stehen (Langhantelstangen, Ringe,etc).
Nicht weit entfernt ist Freudenstadt mit seinem bekannten Marktplatz, sowie weitere Städte wie Altensteig/Nagold und somit auch die Nagold Talsperre auf der gerne SUP und weiterer Wassersportbetrieben wird.
Im Winter haben wir einige Skiareals um uns herum.
Von Pfalzgrafenweiler ist der öffentliche Verkehrsmitteltransport gut angeschlossen. Die nächste wirklich gute Zugverbindung ist in Horb.
