  Description

  We are a small, open-minded, internationally thinking, "USA" family living in sunny, southern Tuscany; We're Emily and Carter who is 16 years old. I am in the tourism and event planning industry and Carter is a full time student. We love the beach and skiing. We play pickle ball and video games. We love lasagna, but look forward to asian food night. We strive for balance in our lives and also know that sometimes we all miss out on opportunities to do it. We appreciate and value connections, cultural exchange, and adventures! We’re excited to share all of that here in Italy. We have hosted both male and female au pairs and international students in Colorado in the past - and are really looking forward to this new experience here. We hope to be a stop on your journey and hope to support like minded people with their hopes and goals.

  We are an American family with dual citizenship in Italy. We’ve relocated here for a different way of life and would love to share that with others. We live in a small city where few people speak English so it’s a great way to work on your Italian language skills. But we also have all kinds of amazing outdoor activities at our doorstep! Beaches, hiking, skiing, cultural sites - they are all available by foot, bus, train and car.

  Aide

  We are looking for a person who can keep things running smoothly and safely. I'm Emily and my son Carter, 16, are looking for someone who can help out with household organization like daily errands, homework help and light meal prep for example. Enjoy your weekdays and weekends free while being present mostly in the afternoons and evenings.

  You will have a lovely, sunny room with a double bed and desk , perfect for other work or studying. There are two bathrooms and all the modern conveniences.

  We are in the middle of Pisa, Florence, Siena and Rome - a perfect position for exploring Tuscany. We live about 10 minutes from the beach and enjoy a temperate climate year round, so being outside is always possible. We have a car here, but we are also well connected by train and bus to almost anywhere in Italy.
