Description
My name is Maria and I live between Athens, Crete and Berlin. I am taking over the farms and the house of my grandparents, so I need help with the reconstruction of the house and the garden. The village Zaros is located in a typical Cretan village in the mountains, 30 min away from the southern beaches and is known for its lake and its hiking trail up the mountains.

You will interact with my family and learn all sorts of plants, vegetables and herbs that grow in Crete. You will learn the customs of the village by meeting the local people, you will eat traditional food and learn how to take care of a farm.

Hello,
I need need help in reconstructing the house and the garden.
You can take a flight or a boat to Heraklion and I can give you a lift with the car to the village.
I would welcome some help around the house, like cleaning the garden from the leaves, planting trees, cleaning trees, creating paths and shades from bamboos and much more which needs expertise with using tools. I welcome people with gardening and permaculture skills, and also with natural building skills.

1 shared double room with single or double bed and a shared toilet.
Accommodation in the house in a big shared room, with a wall that divides it in 2 parts, so there will be privacy. The house is big and there are many terraces where you can take your meals and hang out.
Internet available.
This is a community space, sometimes we cook and eat all together, sometimes my mother cooks. I provide all the essentials and the food.

On your time off, you can go to the lake or to the village or take the hike up to the mountains. There is a bus that goes to the closest city or I can give you a ride. There are also 2 bicycles available.

He helped us clean the whole garden, build a wooden floor, create a stone path and
do a lot of farm work. He is strong, resilient and reliable and a good teamplayer.
I totally recommend him.
