Was uns besonders begeistert hat, war das angenehme und unkomplizierte Zusammenleben. Joshi und Celine waren nicht einfach nur Helfer, sondern wurden schnell ein Teil unseres Alltags. Ob beim gemeinsamen Essen, Treffen mit Freunden oder bei wichtigen Entscheidungen rund um unsere Tiere und die Farm – sie waren stets interessiert, engagiert und voller Herz bei der Sache.
Trotz ihres jungen Alters zeigten beide ein hohes Maß an Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Eigeninitiative und Weitblick. Sie denken mit – und oft auch voraus – was für uns eine riesige Entlastung war. Ihr liebevoller Umgang mit unseren Tieren hat uns sehr berührt, und ihre herzliche Art hat unseren Alltag bereichert.
Wir sind sehr dankbar für diese intensive, schöne Zeit mit Joshi und Celine. Ihr wart eine echte Bereicherung für uns und unsere Farm. Danke, dass ihr da wart – ihr seid jederzeit wieder willkommen!
Wir durften 3 Wochen bei Titilayo und Richy in Dolores (ein sehr schön eingerichteter Wohnwagen) wohnen. Die Kommunikation mit den beiden war immer sehr direkt und einfach, sodass wir immer Bescheid wussten und ein gutes Gefühl hatten. Wir haben viele verschiedene Aufgaben auf dem Land übernommen, z.B. zusammen neue Felder angelegt oder

Unsere Freizeit kam auch nicht zu kurz, denn es gab viele tolle Ausflüge, bei denen die beiden uns die Umgebung gezeigt haben und wir viel über die Region gelernt haben. Unter der Woche gab es immer sehr leckeres, selbst gekochtes Essen. Am Wochenende haben wir mit dem, was wir eingekauft bekommen haben, selbst gekocht. Oft gab es auch noch Chocolatinas dazu, die Titilayo nach dem Einkaufen mitgebracht hat.
Wir vermissen die vielen Tiere schon jetzt, freuen uns aber immer über neuen Schweini Content auf Instagram!
Und wer weiß, vielleicht kommen wir, wie besprochen, in 5 Jahren nochmal, um zu sehen, was sich alles so getan hat!

… read more den Garten ein bisschen vorbereitet; Kartoffeln ausgesetzt, Pflänzchen umgetopft, Neues gesät... Ich habe in der kurzen Zeit und trotz Regen viel mitnehmen können (incl. Ausflug zum Wasserfall, Radfahren auf der ecopista, interessante Gespräche, und natürlich auch die company der süßen Tiere!) I can totally recommend this workaway to everyone! Titilayo and Richy are caring, fun and generous hosts and we were lucky, that they hosted us spontaneously on their land. We helped them with all kinds of tasks in the garden and with their pets (which are adorable!). The communication and expectations were clear from the start, and it felt very
… read more easy going, which was exactly what we needed after a long time of travelling before. Also, I want to mention, that the land is beautiful and that Titilayo and Richy built a really nice area for volunteers: their van, the outdoor kitchen, shower, etc are more than great and definitely high standard for a workaway! We were always provided with good, nutritious food and having dinner together was delicious and fun. Before we left, we did a trip through the mountains and Titilayo and Richy showed us around the area.

Anna came with her boyfriend Ben. We hadn't actually planned a workaway and were unsure whether we should say yes. It was a good decision for Anna and Ben to join us. Not only did they support us actively, were reliable pet sitters and cooked us delicious meals, we also had a lot of fun with them.

Titilayo und Richy haben uns spontan aufgenommen und waren sehr sympathische, offene und hilfsbereite Menschen. Wir waren zu dritt und konnten in Doloris (den Wohnwagen) und auf dem Heuboden schlafen, welche sie sehr liebevoll eingerichtet haben.
Bezüglich der Aufgaben hatten wir eine große Auswahl an Aufgaben auf dem Land und konnten auch immer
… read more auf die Hunde aufpassen, mit ihnen spielen und Gassi gehen. Auf ihrem Land haben wir Bäume verschnitten und gepflanzt, Kompost gewendet, eine Wand verputzt, …
Am Wochenende hat Titilayo mit uns immer einen Ausflug gemacht. Wir haben einen Roadtrip in die Berge gemacht, waren wandern, essen und beim Wochenwndmarkt.
Abendbrot haben wir immer gemeinsam gegessen und hatten schöne Gespräche und Spieleabende.
Beide sind total nett und sehr liebevoll.

It was particularly touching to see how lovingly they treated our animals and how much fun they had playing with them. We can recommend Helene, Manni and Konrad with full conviction. … read more hard-working, tidy and very conscientious. I was very touched by the love and respect with which Jolanda and Zora treated our animals. They were particularly fond of our cat Mikosch, who enjoyed being cared for and cuddled by the two of them to the fullest. Thanks to the best cat and dog sitters! We had many great conversations and laughed a lot together during our excursions and meals. The time with Zora and Jolanda showed me once again how good and important it is to always keep an open mind, to exchange ideas and to hear from which perspective younger people see the world.

We were with Titilayo for the last two weeks and we loved it!!! Before we went to stay with her we had a video call and we immediately got along very well. … read more comfortable caravan on the beautiful land so we could enjoy some privacy. She cooked really tasty and healthy food for us and we ate together and had many good conversations. You can learn a lot from her.
She took us on hikes to see a beautiful waterfall and the mountains to show us around. It was always great talking to her, sharing experiences and opinions, we had so much fun!
We also loved her two dogs and her cat, they made us laugh everyday.
It is a very calm place, so you will be able to relax and clear your mind.
