Hey there!
I'm Anna, 25 and from Germany. At home I am a student in social and environmental studies, but at the moment I am doing a Gap year and travel through Portugal and Spain. I am looking to expand my skills and knowledge in all kind of areas to figure out what I would like to do in life. So, I am very keen to learn new skills and interested in alternative lifestyles, building projects, agriculture, animal care or hospitality. When it comes to work, a friend of mine recently said that I have a hands-on mentality - I would say that describes me quite well. I see the work to get done and also don't mind to get my hands dirty. Also, I am quite easygoing, social and very interested in all kind of stories to tell each other and like joking around!
My workaway experience:
I did 3 workaways before - one recently in Portugal, one in Irland in 2019 and one in Finnland in 2021. In Irland I was helping a family with their little farm (helping in the garden, feeding the animals, looking after the kids, ...). I liked it so much that I wanted to do workaway again since then, so when I did a semester abroad in Finnland I was lucky to have another experience with a local Finnish couple on the countryside. I love the idea of workaway and the community behind it - mostly because you meet interesting people and it's a great way to experience the culture of a country.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have gained lots of experience during the last years in all different kind of jobs:
- waitress/ receptionist/ bartender - during my studies I worked in all kind of service jobs, plus I can make great coffee!
- gardening and animal care - during my farmstay with a family in Irland I gained some experience
- childcare - I was an AuPair for 6 month in Australia for 3 boys
Most important I am open to all different kind of projects and always willing to learn something new! And I like cooking vegetarian/vegan meals and also love to bake from time to time!

I really like to try all kind of sports! I do bouldering, swimming, yoga, volleyball and always like to try out something new! Also, I am a very social person (exceptions can happen in the morning before I had coffee), but of course I also enjoy my quite time and also know how to entertain myself. I like cooking (vegetarian/vegan) and exploring new things!
